I watch as we carefully creep our way into one of the abandoned shacks near the pyramids. "Ssh. Undercover, yo. You got to blend in with your surroundings. You know, you got to be part of the landscape- ow!" Skids whispers before tripping, I let out a sigh and shake my head at the robot. "Awesome! I think aliens built that. Yeah! Yeah, yeah." Simmons rambles taking a second to look up at the pyramids, "Oh yeah, definitely." I agree for once as I look up at the giant structures. "Come on. Move it! Move it! Move out!" He urges pushing me along.
"Guard us. Low profile. Don't make a scene, okay?" I call to the twins, "Awe come on mama, you know we got dis?" Mudflap whines, "Don't argue with me alright? Maybe if we live through all of this I'll convince NEST to take you to that monster truck show yeah?" I offer. The twins perk up at the offer, "We got you, we got you." They agreed. "Yeah, some of us got work to do! Dumb Autobots." Wheelie yells from my feet, "Don't instigate, wheelie." I warn down at him as I hold open the door to let him inside, The robot grumbles but doesn't talk back as he quickly zips into the shack. God I feel like dealing with a bunch of toddlers.
Simmons and Sam spent the rest of the night trying to decipher the riddle but after the fourth time hearing them repeat it to each other I left and went to sit outside with Bumblebee. The bot in question sat parked on the side of the shack, opening his door for me as soon as I was in range as if to tell me he could use the company too. As soon as night came Bumblebee transformed into his mech, giving himself a second to stretch from having been incognito for most of the trip. "You know, we never talked about it." I call up to him as I sat on one of his robotic thighs and laid against him. "Talk about—What?" He questioned through his radio channels, I look at him with a glare, the mech looked back down at me innocently.
"Don't play innocent, Berry." I warningly tease, Bumblebee mockingly whirls his engine at me, nodding his head to and from like he was debating being nice or not. "Why'd you do it?" I question directly, Bee doesn't move, doesn't even make a noise. "Cause if I want you, then I want you babe— Your so pretty it hurts— You don't know what you did to me—I've never felt like this before— I don't want to live without you— I don't want to love nobody but you." His radio sings through different love songs. I swallow hard as I look up at the big yellow bot, "You love me?" I whisper, "I don't want to go down any other road now, I don't want to love anybody but you—" His radio sings from one of the songs he had used before. A smile spreads across my lips as I reach over and take one of his metal fingers into my hands. "Bee," I whisper softly, I hear his engine whirl, "I love you too." I laugh softly.
"It's just..." I start bringing myself to look up at his blue optics, "Are you really gonna be able to love me the way you love someone from cybertron?" I question weakly. Dreading the answer but knowing it would have to be asked, "Baby let me love you down—" The usher song sang. A laugh rips from my throat at the song, I shook my head at him, "It's not like I don't believe you Bee, but I feel like I'll be lacking you know? I'm sure there are things I can't do that your own kind can." I chuckle with a weak shrug. My breath catches in my throat when Bee suddenly starts to shift with me still pressed firmly against him, I hold as still as possible until the Camaro is fully formed around me. Only unlike usual I find myself lying in the back seat rather than sitting in the front.
"Uh, Bee?" I question pushing myself to sit up, instead of answering I find Bee's hologram forming over the top of me as he pushes me back down. My eyes blow wide at the expression on his face, serious but something else brewing underneath it. He doesn't say a word before he leans down and presses his lips to mine, I gasp against him, finding this to be completely out of nowhere. But Bumblebee takes the opportunity to slide his tongue in my mouth, pushing against mine and urging it to play with his own. I pull away when the air gets thin, the hazy feeling from the first time comes back, this time I know it's the kiss that leaves me dazed.
"Bumblebee." I mumble reaching up and running a hand through my hair, thoughts becoming more and clear, but then slowly start to slip away again when his mouth finds the empty space of my throat. "What are you doing?" I whisper, almost too embarrassed and distracted to actually get the words out, "Let's make love tonight—" The radio sings softly. My breath catches in my throat, Bumblebee pulling away from my neck to look at me, baby blue eyes worried. "Okay." I whisper, something of the likes of a feral grin spreads across his face. It's that moment I realized that Bumblebee might know some things that I don't.
