White filled my vision, "Oh no." I whisper upon realizing where I might be. Twisting around I look for any sign, maybe a door I can just open and walk right back down to my body. But the only thing I see is another figure. I approach them slowly, only noticing small details as I get closer. "Sam?" I question, the boy whips around and meets me face to face. "Oh shit! Did we die together?" I whisper, panic flood's Sam's face. As if he didn't realize he might be dead.

"We have been watching you a long, long time." A voice echos, I turn my head looking in every direction for the owner of the voice. "Oh my god, we're about to meet God." I whisper panicking, but then large shadows come into view, "You have fought for Optimus, our last descendant, with courage and with sacrifice, the virtues of a leader, a leader worthy of our secret. The Matrix of Leadership is not found, it is earned." One shadow booms out. Oh...OH, "The Primes." I whisper in awe. "The Warrior at your side, defends our kind as her own, who puts the lives she defends before her own, the qualities one should bear as a leader. Earning our secret in life, makes you worthy of the Matrix in death." Another calls out. "Return now to Optimus. Merge the Matrix with his spark. It is, and always has been, your destiny." The final Prime demands.

Not another word could be spoken as the white light of the great beyond is suddenly snuffed out, darkness didn't last more than that second as I felt my lungs burning for air. My eyes snap open and I suck in a greedy breath of air. Lennox's worried, glossy eyes being the first thing I see. Upon gasping for air, his watery eyes spill over, not even waiting for me to exhale before he yanks me off the ground and into his arms, cradling me like it's the last thing he'll ever do. "You dumb brat." He croaks out, I blink suddenly overwhelmed with Lennox damn near sobbing, I rub at his back doing my best to soothe him through my foggy confusion.

It then occurs to me as I look over his shoulder to see Sam laying on the ground holding Mikaela as she held him. Right, we had died. Lennox had watched me die right there, fuck am I gonna have to explain this to his wife? A large thump shakes the ground, Lennox pulls me closer, but the only threat was Bumblebee kneeling over the top us. Lennox nowhere near ready to let me go just yet hold me close as I reach a hand up to Bee, taking his wobbly finger into my hands. "Love you Bee." I croak out, that seemed to be the straw that broke the Camel's back and water-like fluid flooded from his eyes. "Awe." I laugh weakly, patting his finger.

"Lennox, you gotta let go now." I whisper patting him to get off as Sam stumbles to his feet, reluctantly he lets go and follows me to watch Sam spear the Matric into Optimus's chest. With a jolt, Optimus sputters and coughs out sand, sitting up he looks between Sam and I, "You came back for me." He calls. "As if we wouldn't." I laugh weakly, I watch in awe as Optimus rises to his feet. Only in just a few seconds a giant beast of a robot comes crashing down on him. My heart stops as the Matrix is ripped from his chest, "NO!" I scream taking a charged step forward. Lennox grabs me and holds be back from getting any closer. No. No I did not fucking—Die, for some asshole to just storm in and storm out with the Matrix in hand.

"Get up Optimus! Get up!" I beg pulling at Lennox's hold on me, the world falling apart as The Fallen activated his machine. "All my Decepticon life, I never did a thing worth doing until now. Optimus, take my parts and you will have a power you've never known. Fulfill... your destiny..." Jetfire croaks, my mouth falls open watching at this ancient robot rips out his own spark. "Jolt! Electrify! Transplant those afterburners." Ratchet calls, jumping into action with Sideswipe. I reach out my arm wanting to help, then it happened, a chain shot out from my and latched around Optimus.

With Lennox too shocked to hold me back I rip away from him and use my newfound ability to start pulling Optimus along, pulling him closer and closer to the parts until he starts to stand on his own. Carefully relaxing my wrist, the chain unwrapped from around him and slid right back into my bracelet, although it no longer looked like a bracelet, it took form in a thick cuff that took up the first five inches of my wrist. My ring is nowhere in sight but with my new discoveries I wouldn't put it past the Primes of the Matrix to dabble with the technology I took on as my own.

Optimus took form as a giant winging robot from a sci-fi geek's wet dreams, posing as the final pieces clicked into place. "Let's roll." Optimus commands before taking off into the air. I watch in utter amazement as Optimus completely and utterly destroys everything he deemed a threat, the machine being damaged by missiles and Optimus completely shutting the machine down. What seems like weeks' worth of trouble seemed to be solved in a few minutes as Optimus rips the face of the Fallen, skin peeled back and everything. With his mission complete Jetfire's spare parts fall to the sand, leaving Optimus as well... Optimus.
