I wait on the front steps, bag and toolbox next to me as I toy with the vile holding the shard of the cube. Why did he put it in here? It's not like he hadn't held it before, but it was a whole cube then. Popping open the top I look down inside to see the slight shimmer of what's left of the cube. I shake it hearing it clink around, letting out a small and confused sigh of what to do with it but pause when I still hear the clink when my hand is still. I freeze in place but carefully let my eyes scan the porch, my eyes catch a shimmer of blue and silver metal. I jump when I see it move, standing I accidentally drop the shard in an effort to point my forming cannon at the small robot. We both freeze then eye each other, in a split second we both dive for the shard. The tiny robot gets closer faster and on instinct I grab the tiny robot in one hand and the shard with the other.

I gasp when suddenly a shockwave blasts off the shard, knocking me off the porch and out into the yard. I breathe heavily as I feel my arm sting and symbols flash across my eyes. But I'm not so out of it I miss the familiar rawer of Bumblebee's engine, "Bumble—Bumblebee!" I call through panicked breaths. I can hear him shift through the symbols and the whirl of his cannon buzz. I hiss when the pain gets too much in my arm and I roll away, it's then reality crashes down on me. My vision slowly clears, looking back I see the shard laying on the ground and off to the side I see Bumblebee holding the small robot at gunpoint.

Stumbling to my feet I run to grab the vile and run back, using the sleeve of my shirt I pick up the shard and shove into the vile. Once I screw on the top I shove the vile into my bra, spinning around glare at the small robot, "Who are you and what do you want?" I sneer down at him. "I ain't sayin' nothin' to no autobot and his bitch." He spat. Before I could respond Bumblebee shot off his right eye, "Aaa! That's my eye, you autobot bitch!" He screams. "Easy Bee, I need him in one piece." I sigh, "Tell that pussy boy I said step back—" His radio responds with some rap song. "Alright, alright," I whisper patting his cannon.

Squatting down to the tiny bot's height I glare, "You gonna talk now?" I question. "Ow, ow, ow! I seek knowledge from the Cube. The Fallen demands me!" He responds clutching his eye. My eyes narrow at the name, "What knowledge?" I demand, "You got the shard. I need the shard, gimme the shard, I need the shard, gimme the shard, they're gonna whack me! I'm gonna be dead without that shard!" He rambles. I grab the little robot and hold him up ready to throw him again, this time with purpose. "Easy, warrior goddess, I'm just a little salvage-scrap drone!" He pleads, I look back over to the house and see my toolbox I left open from where I took out the shard. Looking down at the robot I come to a quick decision of what I'm gonna do with him. "And I'm your worst fucking nightmare." I sneer, walking over and shoving the little robot inside.

I hear him scream and I close and lock the box before sitting on it, but Bumblebee is still aiming his cannon. "You can put it away Bee, we got bigger problems," I mumble rubbing at where I felt the sting, looking down I see the ring and bracelet left burn marks on my skin, most likely from reacting to the energy the shard gave off in the blast. Fuck, okay take a breath, I gotta call Lennox— my panicked thoughts are silenced by my phone ringing. Looking down I see its Lennox. Pressing the answer button I brought the phone to my ear, "You were right, we just got word that there were simultaneous attacks on—" He paused, "You-know—whats. I have a feeling that the Liaison guy is gonna come for our asses for it too. I need you to go get the kid alright, bring him to the base. We're gonna need all hands on deck." He reports. I groan and rub and my throbbing head, like getting shocked from an extraterrestrial energy source then attacked by a robot from hell wasn't enough on my plate. "Alright." I mumble, "Atta girl, see you soon." He praises, it brings a warm feeling in my chest and a small smile to my face before I hand up.

"Well Bee." I call to the mech that now has his holoform sitting beside me, "Looks like you're going to college after all." I snort. I watch him perk up and a grin spread across his face. "Don't get too excited, we're gonna be in a shit load of trouble afterwards." I grumble, with a grunt I stand to my feet and collect my things as Bee's Holofrom frizzes out and his mech body whirls back to life. He shifts forms yet again into the sexy Camero I know and love, his door pops open as I approach the car. "Put the—punk ass bitch— in the back." He radioed loudly, instigating the robot in my toolbox to rattle around and shout back. I huff and toss my stuff into the back seat before climbing into Bee, the little robot in the box still throwing a temper tantrum. This is going to be a long ride.
