Standing under the pouring rain without an umbrella and two bags, she doesn't have plans for her life anymore,
a constant nagging pain kept tugging at the back of her head as the rain poured more heavily as she goes down the memory lane of her till this point,
just as she goes into frenzy,
a blue car pulls up in front of her.
A man comes out of the car with an umbrella and walks towards her, as he goes closer he realizes that she is a very fair beautiful lady,
she almost looked like a Half cast as she still doesn't realize that he is there.
Standing in front of her, he shakes her a bit as she looks up at him,
"may I ask, what are you doing here?",
"Trying to drench myself under the pouring rain, I guess" she answers.
"Well, we have to leave now, if not we are gonna get killed in the next hour, this is 4: 30 in the morning" he says,
she gets alarmed as she hears that, trying to pick up her drenched bags,
he comes to her and says
"just take the handy things, we will come for the rest things later",
taking her hand bag, he ushers her into his car and they drove off.
While in the car, he asks "may I know your name?"
her eyes doesn't tear off the road as she answers "Joan",
looking back at him, she asks "yours?"
"Boma" he says,
"where are we headed now?"
"A hotel" he answered.
Nothing was said after that until they pulled up in front of a hotel.
Boma came out of the car and opened the door for her,
"Thank You" she says and gives him a faint smile.
Entering the hotel, the receptionist greets them with a warm smile and says
"Good day ma, good day sir, what may I assist you with?"
Boma answers and says "I want to pay for a room please, for two days",
"For both of you sir?" the receptionist asks,
"No, just her" Boma replies.
When the receptionist is done, she says "Your room number is Room 304, Thanks for staying with us"
then she hands over the room card to them and points her hand towards an elevator,
beside the elevator door is a butler with a soft smile.
When Joan and Boma reached the door, the butler collected her hand bag and ushered them into the elevator.
When the elevator reached the fifth floor, the doors opened then the butler came out and gestured for them to come out too,
they came out and started to follow the butler down the hall until he halted in front of a door with the numbers "304" on it.
"Your room sir" The butler says as he hands over the bag to Joan,
"Thanks" says Boma and hands the butler a tip,
The Butler smiles and walks away.
Sliding the card over the card checker, Boma opens the door and gestures her to go in,
she goes and he follows.
Dropping her bag on the sofa, she says "Thank You"
"Mmm" He says.
As Joan still sits dazed, Boma looks at her and asks
"Are you ready to tell me why you were standing there, under the rain?"...
