When they were done, Boma introduced her to them and told them that they shouldn't disturb her for now and that she should rest for a while before going to disturb her,
Boma showed her to her room and told her that if she needed anything, she shouldn't hesitate to call either him or one of the maids,
Joan agreed and started to settle down and she was still dazed on what was happening, after thinking for a while, Joan decided to sleep as she thought she would feel better after a nap.
When she woke up, it was close to evening time so she went outside her room to see if it was a dream or it was really real,
but it was really real, she was now living with Boma, She went downstairs and met Boma in the sitting room and she smiled at him,
when Boma saw her, a wide smile spread across his face as he welcomed her to come sit beside him. She looked very beautiful.
Boma held her hands and looked at her as he told her "I hereby promise to always make you happy and make you smile, starting from right now."
Joan was more shocked as Boma gave this promise, she was dazed for a while then she came back from her trance,
"I don't know what to say" he laughed for a while and said
"Just say thank you because we are going out this evening"
Joan just said thank you but she felt that it wasn't enough for what he just did willingly.
Before she stood up, she turned to him and said
"For what you have just done, I will do anything you want, anything at all, just name it"
Boma looked at her and cranked his head sideways and said
"I need just two things from you, one I will tell you now and the other I will tell you when the time has come"
"Don't worry, just ask" Joan said.
Boma replied her and said
"I want you to just be happy, you look very beautiful when you smile and I need you to do that for me"
Joan was stunned again as she didn't expect him to request for that, she lifted up her head as she looked at him, she asked
"Are you sure this is what you want as I was not expecting you to ask for that?"
Boma nodded his head in approval and her tears became teary, she gave him a tight hug as tears ran down her cheeks, it has been a long time since someone said that to her.
When she left him, he gave her a warm smile and said
"I will now and always make you happy, now go get dressed let's go out"
She nodded and went to her room to change into something better...
