Just a "Normal" Day at School..? || CynoNari

Part 5.2: Collei-Flower / Nari's House

TIGHNARI POV: 

I'm starting to miss Cyno terribly.. It's the second half of the school year and I haven't really seen him outside of class. We haven't been hanging out much lately; no, at all. 

If I hang out with Cyno today, Collei might get teased again for her chronic illness... What should I do? 

I felt eyes on me and Collei during lunch; it was probably was Cyno, yet I couldn't bother to notice.
Could he have been jealous? Seeing me with... someone else? After all, today is Valentine's day, and we haven't seen eachother in a while.

"Nari!"  shouted a voice familiar to me. 

"Yes?" I replied, while turning around to see who called.
It's Cyno..!
I look him in the eye with a smile. It's been so long, how can I not smile? 

"O-oh! Hello Cyno! I-it's been a while!" Collei said happily, hugging him. 

She still is shy, but not as much as she was when I first started taking care of her. It seems she's feeling safer around me, which is a relief! 

"I was about to say the same thing, Collei-flower." Cyno replies. 

No.. NOT A PUN! I HATE THOSE! 

Ugh! I had the urge to beat him up, yet I restrained myself. I was still annoyed. 

I can't believe he's pollen my leg here!
...*ba dum tss*
Wait.. NO I MADE ONE MYSELF! DAMN IT! 

After we had lunch, there were ten minutes left before our next class would begin. That meant we had to walk to class. Me and Cyno were talking while making our way there until we encountered a whole entire CROWD of girls all rushing to talk to him! 

They were giving love letters, asking him out, trying to get his number, and trying to... KISS ...him.
―I was planning to confess, yet looks like that'll have to wait!
What maniacs girls can be here on Valentine's day...

I went in their direction, urging them all sternly to show Cyno some respect, to give him personal space, to calm down, etc. 

Aaaand... finally! The day is over! Time to take a break.. or so I thought. 

"Nari, can I visit your house today or tomorrow?" Cyno asked at random.

What!? I've heard from other batch mates he isn't the type to be so... direct. What did Valentine's Day do to him!? This isn't... like him. 

"S-sure!" I replied with uncertainty in my voice, while sweating all of a sudden. Well, it wouldn't hurt if he visited right? Wait.. what if dad asks if he's my valentine?! What if he doesn't like him?! Oh archons...

I needed to fix my room, my stuff, and hide a lot of plants in the wardrobe too! There's... a lot. Please don't even ask me about the things I have...
We could also play TCG together, because I had promised him we can play once I sorted out my deck.

We agreed at 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm because late afternoon was the only time I was free.

Once I got home, I got ready and told my dad some of my friends were coming over. 

"Could one of them be your... valentine?" Dad asked. 

"No!" I replied, while laughing nervously. 

I made sure to tell Cyno my address beforehand of course, because it would be incredibly awkward if I made him guess. 

At 4:30, Candace and Collei arrived together. What a nice surprise. 

We all sat down at the table, and started to play TCG while waiting. Man, I wish Cyno was here already. 

At 5:00 exactly, someone knocked on the door; I was about to answer it, yet my dad opened it first.

Cyno was the one at the door too...
How embarrassing! Dad, this is why I should always answer the door!

I realised Cyno hadn't met Candace yet. I then had to make introductions of course, like the good friend I am!

"This is Candace," I said, introducing Cyno to Candace. 

"Candace? More like... CANDEEZ NUTS FIT IN YOUR MO-"  Before Cyno could even finish, Candace stood up and punched him with brute force. That kind of strength must've been from her ancestor, Deshret. I was ready to beat him up yet again while Collei was watching this hilarious sight; sweating anxiously. 

Afterwards, we kept on chatting and laughing while playing TCG, and there were a few more moments of Cyno getting beat to a pulp. 

I had fun with them here at my place. The one thing that had bothered me though was when Cyno asked for the bathroom, and didn't come back after a whole 30 minutes. I wonder what that was about... 

Today was incredibly chaotic, maybe a bad day for Cyno. With all this punching from Candace, and today's commotion at school... I hope he feels better after our hangout this evening.

I bet Candace's punches will ache for a week or two. Let's see how tomorrow will be like.
