Chapter 3: Aren't you Glad, Precious?

Caleb hums and sings lowly along to the music that plays on the speakers while he cooks, Sadie going to finish applying the last of the LED lights under the counter, it being a relaxing blue color, the cat being on her right shoulder, softly rubbing her head against Sadie's cheek, Sadie smiling while kissing her cheek.

"Okay lights are done. I just have to do behind the TV and the table." Sadie says, her going to stand up.

"Okay." Caleb says, him stirring the plant based meat in the pan, him going over to the other pan and going to season the beef for him in the other pan.

Sadie goes over to the living room, putting some more LED lights behind the TV, her going upstairs to do so with the other TV's and tables around the house, her smiling when she turns off the living room light, it just being the blue relaxing LED lights and also the light from the TV.

Sadie goes back over to the kitchen, her taking the kitten off of her shoulder and setting her down on the counter, her leaning her forearms on the counter while going to type away on her phone. "Unique cute nicknames for your kitten." Sadie says while typing. "Caleb what should I name her?"

"Simba." Caleb says in a deep voice with a smile.

Sadie rolls her eyes with a smile, her going to scroll through her phone at the different names while petting her, the kitten softly closing her eyes while letting out a little purr. "Whiskers is to generic."

"Definitely to generic." Caleb agrees.

"Freckles?" Sadie questions.

"Eh." Caleb shrugs.

"Oh how about Lola?" Sadie questions with a smile. "I feel like Lola would fit her so well."

"I like Lola." Caleb nods.

"Lola it is." Sadie smiles. She goes to take out the little bowls that was brought back, her setting it on the floor and going to put the soft kitten food in one bowl making the kitten do a soft meow while looking at Sadie prepare the food, her putting some water in the other bowl. "Here you go girl." Sadie says, putting Lola down on the floor and her going over to the food, her beginning to eat it.

Sadie smiles while watching her, softly petting her while she eats before she goes over to Caleb, her smiling as her arms go around his bare waist, him being in just some basketball shorts. She lays her cheek on his back, her coming closer to him and smiling while her eyes are closed. "Thank you again Caleb."

"You're welcome." Caleb smiles. "I love seeing you smile, and I know you love cats."

"Yeah I do." Sadie smiles. "Can I have a little taste test?"

"Absolutely, come here." He motions with his head, Sadie going to stand besides him. He goes to put some of her plant based meat, some red peppers and some sauce in her wrap before giving the small wrap to her, him softly blowing on it before she opens her mouth, him putting it in her mouth and her closing her eyes while chewing with a smile. "Like it?"

"Caleb it's so good." Sadie says while chewing. "I'm so hungry."

"It's done now I just have to make the plates. You can go on and get the movie set up in the room." Caleb says.

"Okay." Sadie says, him kissing her on the lips before she goes to make her way upstairs, her going to turn on the TV in the room and turn the room light off, the blue LED lights lighting up the room. She goes to DisneyPlus, her putting it on the original Lion King and pausing it, seeing Caleb come up with the plates. "Let me just get Lola."

"Okay." Caleb responds, him getting on the bed and the plates being on the wooden long tray as well as their drinks.

After a minute Sadie makes her way back up, her going to put Lola on a little pallet she makes for her on a blanket on the edge of the bed. "Okay ready."
