Chapter 39: Last Day

Sadie lays asleep in the bed in the hotel, the blankets feeling so soft and warm against her causing to rest in a deep slumber, that plus the soft warm wind coming from the patio doors being open, it not being to high, just the perfect amount of breeze that gets her into a deep sleep, her honestly not sleeping so good like this ever since everything happened.

Caleb stands at the patio, his arms being on the railing while he looks out at the view, him just wearing some grey sweats. He sees how the sun begins to rise a little since it is dawn, giving the sky a beautiful orange color. He just decided to come outside, him knowing that he has to be up in an hour anyways, but thankful that it is the last day that they have to film then they can be off back home.

Caleb types away on his phone, him getting done getting their plane tickets to go back home to Hawaii. He sees when he gets a call from Jenna, him answering the phone and putting it on speaker. "Hey Jen, you're up early."

"So are you." She responds. "Did you see the new video that is going absolutely everywhere?"

"What video?" He questions.

"Esther released a apology video for what she did." Jenna mentions. "Apparently death threats have been sending to her house and she has to hire security and all of that, so she was apologizing and asking for it to stop, all of that."

"Jesus." Caleb wipes his eyes a little bit. "Yeah death threats are a little to far for my liking. Sadie did say she wanted to release a video of her talking about it before we go back to Hawaii, I might have to say something too, that's to far."

"Yeah." Jenna responds. "But at least she did say she initiated the kiss even though it was clearly seen and you shouldn't be blamed. She blamed it on intoxication but...honestly with her skimpy clothing she always wore around you I'm not to sure."

"Yeah honestly now that I am thinking about it there were just...moments." Caleb shakes his head. "I can't believe I didn't see it."

"No need to blame yourself, I just wanted to let you know."

"Alright thanks Jen."

"Welcome, see you on set."

"See you." Caleb replies before he hangs up the phone. He goes to pull up his Instagram, him not even having to scroll far before he spots the video.

And Jenna is right, she does look terrified. Despite how much Caleb really doesn't like her after what she did he doesn't like the fact that she is scared for her life either. He isn't the type to wish death on anyone either...

Well, anyone except Rohan.

Caleb puts his phone in his pocket, him just letting his forearms rest on the railing. He just looks out at the sun rising, the table still being on the patio as well.

He looks over his shoulder a little bit when Sadie's arms go around Caleb from behind, her laying the side of her head on his warm back. "Did I wake you?"

"No." Sadie responds. "Come back to bed, we still have an hour left."

Caleb smiles while he turns around, him bending down a little bit to pick her up, him walking back over to the bed and both of them going to lay down. Sadie snuggles more closely to him, Caleb being laid on his back while he draws patterns on her arm.

"Everything okay?" Sadie questions.

Caleb nods his head, him looking down at her with a smile. "Yeah just some social media stuff."

"What's going on?"

"Esther posted a apology video because she is getting death threats sent to her after the whole video ordeal." Caleb tells her.
