Chapter 6: Wednesday Gathering

Sadie and Caleb both lay in the bed together, the windows being open as well as the patio door in their room being opened, the thin curtains softly flowing in the wind a little bit, the sun already being out. Last night and for the past few weeks they barely got  any sleep which is why they are waking up early in the afternoon, but them still being well rested and a light satisfied feeling consuming them, them not helping but smile..

Caleb is leaned on his elbow, him being laid on his side while he looks down at Sadie, softly stroking her cheek. Sadie lays on her back, her looking up at Caleb with a smile while she plays with the silver necklace around his neck, it being more like a shiny chain, nothing to extravagant, the piece of jewelry suiting him well.

"I know what types of foods Millie likes, she really doesn't say no to anything." Sadie says. "What about Jenna?"

Caleb looks up a little bit in thought. "She likes baked fish, pretty much the same snacks you like."

"Okay." Sadie responds. "Excited to see Wednesday?"

"Yes I am so excited." Caleb smiles more. "I am almost tempted to watch a episode right now."

"No we have to wait until they get here." Sadie says with a smile.

Caleb groans out while falling on his back, Sadie laughing as she goes to lay on her side, her hand going to his chest. "But it's so far." He complains.

"Get up you big baby." Sadie says, her going to get up from the bed, taking the covers off of her and her going to pick up her phone while standing in front of the nightstand, running her hand through her hair while looking at her messages. "Mills is going to kill me, I haven't been answering her calls."

"With that being said I am going to make us something." Caleb says while getting up from the bed. "Breakfast or lunch?"

"Waffles?" She questions with a smile.

"Waffles it is." Caleb says with a nod, giving her a kiss on her cheek before he goes to the bathroom, the shower water coming on.

Sadie goes to flip through the channels on the TV while standing up, her just settling on Family Feud before going to answer the texts of her parents and her brothers as well as different friends, her getting done with those and going to Millie and Jenna's texts.

A few minutes later she sees a FaceTime call from Millie, Sadie going to answer it. "Hey Mills!" Sadie greets.

"How dare you ignore me!" Millie pretends to cry.

"I wasn't ignoring you I honestly haven't been looking at my phone." Sadie mentions.

"No it's fine I'm just playing with you." Millie laughs.

"Oh yeah that is what I forgot to tell you, make sure you and Jake bring swimsuits that way we can swim after watching Wednesday and Enola Holmes." Sadie says.

"Sounds good to me." Millie says while yawning, her still being in the bed. "Alright well, I am going to catch up on a little sleep, tell Noah to stop annoying me then we will be on our way. What time again?"

"Four is good." Sadie replies.

"Alright four it is, see you then."

"See you."

"Wait wait before you go!" Millie says with a smile. "Why weren't you answering my texts?"

"Because I wasn't next to my phone." Sadie answers.

"Why weren't you next to your phone?" Millie questions with a smile.

Sadie rolls her eyes with a smile. "See you at four Millie."
