Chapter 2

Shaylynn's P.O.V.
"I am so sorry!"Cameron apologized and held his hand out to help me up.

I gladly took it and got back to my feet right before falling back down.I was super dizzy so I couldn't even stand up.

"It's ok.I am just a little dizzy.You should get back to your volleyball game."I said to him as he knelt down next to me.

"Um no.Your not getting rid of me that easily."He chuckled."Im Cameron."He said as he extended his hand for me to shake as he started to stand back up.I smiled at him and gladly accepted.
I placed my small hand in his large but soft one.Instead of shaking it,he pulled me up.I almost fell on the ground again but instead I fell into Cameron's strong muscular arms.He smiled down at me.I swear he was gonna kiss me.Instead he wrapped my arm around his neck and started to walk towards a chair near the volleyball net.
"I am Shaylynn by the way."I said smiling at him and admiring his features.His eyes are amazing! They are a chocolate brown and go perfect with his skin and hair.He is perfect.I was staring at him as he sat me down in the chair.Luckily,he didn't notice.
"You can sit here and watch me play.Marissa had to leave so looks like your stuck with me.If you need anything,yell at me!"He chuckled then kissed my cheek.I started blushing like crazy.He winked just before walking off to play.I began getting butterflies in my stomach.But why? I just met this kid and he's already making me have butterflies.

As it turns out, Cameron is pretty good at volleyball.He looks pretty hot playing as well.I look up at the boys playing and a couple girls have started playing as well.One girl has dark brown almost black hair.She has a dark skin tone just like Cameron's.The other girl, however, is the complete opposite.She has bright blonde hair and a light skin tone.My thoughts were interrupted by someone calling my name.
I look up to see Cameron and the boys along with the two girls staring at me.
"What?"I asked confused.
"I asked if your head felt better and if you wanted to play."Cameron said smiling at me.God why is he so perfect?
"Yes my head is better and yes I would love to play!"I said getting up and walking to where Cameron was standing.He was staring me up and down as I walked to him with his jaw open a tad.
"Close your mouth or you will catch flies in there."The dark haired girl said as she walked over to where him and me were standing and pushed his mouth closed.

"Hi.Im Shaylynn!I said and extended my hand for her to shake.
"Haha.She actually thinks I wanna be friends with her!"She said as she laughed obnoxiously and everyone else started laughing too.I looked at Cameron and he had his jaw clenched.
A brown haired boy with the bluest eyes I have ever seen walked over to me and whispered in my ear,"Don't listen to her.Shes a whore!"He said that last part a little to loudly which caused everyone to look at him and me chuckling.
"Shut your mouth Nash! I am not!But Shaylynn here on the other hand is."The dark haired girl commented again and snickered.
My jaw was now clenched and I did something I wished I hadn't.I bawled my fists and punched her right in the jaw.She instantly fell to the ground and held her face in her hands.The guys and the other girl just looked at me with shocked but confused looks on their faces.The dark haired girl jumped back up and slapped me across the face.Okay..now I'm pissed!After a few more minutes of hair pulling,slapping,and punching each other Cameron pulled me off of her and Nash pulled her off me.
"Bitch"She said to me.
"Slut"I spat back at her.
"Okay! Cameron you take Shaylynn over there and I will take Jenna over here!"Nash said as he pulled the girl who's name was Jenna over away from us.
Cameron just looked at me with a blank expression on his face along with the other boys.
"Cameron,I am so sorry! I can't believe I got into a fight on my first day here! I know you hate me now and I-"I was interrupted by the boys cheering things like 'Good Job' or 'Thank you'.I was so confused.
Cameron must have noticed my expressions because he said something that surprised me,"She's such a bitch! Thank you! Every single one of us have wanted to do that since the first day we met her!we just couldn't because she is a girl!Good Job babe!"He kissed my cheek.He was smiling from ear to ear.My heart fluttered when he called me 'babe' and kissed me.
"Oh.Wow..so does this mean your not mad at me?"I questioned him.
"No!Were happy you beat her ass!"A brown haired boy said to me with a smile.
Then,I was swept off my feet by Nash and Cam putting me on their shoulders.They carried me to the water.I looked back to see Jenna and the other girl giving me dirty looks.Jenna mouthed 'bitch' to me but I ignored her.I was having a good time with the guys whose names I had learned.There was Shawn,Matt,Carter,Hayes,Nash,Jack J,Jack G,Taylor,Cameron,Aaron,and Jacob.They were all nice guys and super hot!I liked Cameron the most though.

Maybe California isn't so bad after all.
