Chapter 9

~Cameron's POV~(before the incident)
Shaylynn ran away from me and I was looking all over for her.Finally I spotted her and started to walk over to her until someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back.I looked behind me to see Jenna.

"Hello Cameroni."She said wrapping her arms around my neck.I pushed her off.

"What do you want?"I spat coldly.I hated her.I honestly don't know why I ever dated her in the first place.She is such a bitch.Shaylynn is so much better than she is.

"Oh nothing.I just wanted to let you know your perfect little pampered princess Shaylynn is cheating on you with that hot Austin guy..."She trailed off and began to walk away.

"Your lying!"I called after her.

"Really? Let me guess,he showed up at her house and she claimed he tried to get her back but she 'declined'."She said using quotation marks with her fingers.

"She did decline.She told him no."I said.
"Oh really Cameron?"She asked pulling something out of her pocket.It was a phone,but it wasn't hers.It was Shaylynn's."Cameron,her and Austin have been texting.She said she still loves him."She said showing me messages that Shaylynn supposedly sent.
"I don't believe you."I spat.
"Oh really?And why not?"She asked twirling her hair on her finger.
"Because your a rude ass bitch whose ego is almost as big as her mouth.You know what else that mouth does? It sucks on hundreds of dudes dicks each year.Your a slut Jenna,face it."I said crossing my arms.She was clearly taken back by my words and she just stood there shocked as I turned to face Shaylynn only to find some guy touching her.

I ran over to them as fast as I could.I ripped him off of her and began punching him.I glanced over to see all the guys running towards us.I see Johnson(AN:I'm gonna call Jack J Johnson and Jack G Gilinsky) wrap Shaylynn up in his arms.Finally,Nash and Taylor finally pried me away from him and held me back while Gilinsky and Carter held him back.He looked sort of like Austin does.All of a sudden I see Shaylynn walk away.Whats her problem?

Then,Shawn came up to me.

"Dude,what the hell was that about?"He asked.
"I gotta go." I said walking away.I just needed time to figure all of this out.Was Shaylynn cheating on me? Would she actually do that?

~Shaylynns POV~(present time)
I woke up to the smell of bacon.I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes.I get up and walk over to my phone and unplug it from the charger.My phone lights up to show texts from Johnson,Shawn,Gilinsky,and Cameron.Johnson had texted me 4 times,Shawn texted me twice,Gilinsky texted me once,and Cameron had texted me 13 times.I decided to look at Cams first.
Cam:Hey babe,I really need to talk to you.Please text me or call me back!😘
They were all pretty much like that except for the last one.
Cam;Goddamit Shaylynn pick up your damn phone!!!!!!
I went to my contacts and scrolled down to Cameron's name.My finger hovered over the call button.I had this gut feeling that I wasn't gonna like this call if I went through with it.I decided that feeling was just hunger and pressed the button and brought the phone up to my ear.

"Hello?"I finally heard Cameron's sleepy voice ring through my ears.God why was he so perfect.

"Hey babe.Im sorry I fell asleep that's why I didn't answer you."I said sounding sincere.

"Oh,um,yeah.Its okay.So,what are you doing today?"He asked shuffling around.

"I don't know.But I wanna see you.What happened yesterday?"

"Uh,that was nothing."He said his voice getting higher which I know for a fact is what he does when he lies.

"Cam,I thought we wanted an honest relationship?"I questioned.

"I do!But,okay fine.I just needed some time to think after I got some information I wasn't too happy with."

"Oh.Would you mind telling me that information?"I said slowly.

"Are you still dating Austin?"He asked all of a sudden.

"No! What..no!Hell to the no! Austin and I agreed to be friends nothing more.You were there!"I said taken back by this question.

"Okay.I believe you.Wanna meet up at the park later?"He said sounding relieved.

"Sure.Cam,you can trust me right?"I asked him.

"Yes! Of course baby girl!"He said.His voice went up a little again.

"Okay...Well babe,I gotta go.Bye Cam!"

"Wait um,Shaylynn,this might be too soon but,I love you baby girl."He said sounding nervous again.

"I love you too baby.Bye!"I said as he said bye one last time before hanging up.

I placed my phone on my bedside table and walked downstairs.I see Olivia sitting in front of the tv with a plate with bacon,eggs,and a half eaten piece of toast.

"Good morning bitch."She said to me not looking up front the tv.

"Geez be a bit nicer will ya?"I asked pretending to be hurt.I honestly wasn't.This was just Olivia and I's friendship.We always joked around.I think that's why it has always just been her and I.Other people take us seriously and get hurt.Well they can suck it up or leave.Most of them left.

"Nah.Im good.Your breakfast is in the kitchen on the table."She said finally looking at me.

"And you cooked it? Should I be worried?"I joked.

"Shut the fuck up and be grateful will ya?"She said chuckling.

I walked into the kitchen and saw a plate with all the same stuff as Olivia.

"Thanks Liv."I said as I came back into the living room and sat beside her.

"Have you talked to Cam?"She asked me.

"Yeah.I talked to him this morning.He was acting weird."I said shoving eggs in my mouth.Tastes like heaven.

"Really? I saw him yesterday while I was out with...."She trailed off.Should I tell her I know?

"Robert? Liv,we are best friends.You don't have to sneak around.We aren't in high school anymore."I chuckled at the thought of me and Olivia sneaking out to who we thought we're the loves of our lives' houses.

"I know.I just didn't know how you would react."She said.

"Olivia,Austin and I are over.Okay? If you wanna date Robert,or Zach,or even Alex.Heck,you could date Austin,and I would still support you 110%."I said putting my now empty plate down and putting my hands on her shoulders.

She nodded her head and smiled.I grabbed the both of our plates since we were both done and walked to the kitchen.

I looked at the time one the microwave and it said 11:10.Wow.I better get dressed.I walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs to my room.

I walked to my closet and picked out a black tank top with a cream colored cardigan to go over it.I grabbed my dark ripped skinny jeans and set them on my bed.I then walked to my shoes and picked out some brown sandals.I put them with my outfit and went into the bathroom.I turned to hot water on and began undressing and got into the shower.I did what I had to do and grabbed a towel from the rack and got out.I walked out of the bathroom and to my dresser.I grabbed my matching black lace undergarments and put them on.

I walked over to my makeup table and put on some foundation to cover up some acne scars.No,I don't have flawless skin.Deal with it.I did a light smokey eye and some mascara.I put on some EOS lip balm and got up.I walked over to my outfit and out it on.I slipped on my shoes.My hair was pretty dry so I was gonna leave it in its natural curls.I looked at myself in the mirror and I smiled.I was beautiful.I grabbed my phone and purse and walked downstairs.I grabbed my lanyard with my keys on it and walked outside to my jeep.I got in and started it.Here we go.
