So, I've drawn Betty Boop one other time before this, and back then I wasn't nearly as good as I currently am, but I never would've thought of drawing this gal again if my mom hadn't asked me too, and I think she turned out pretty good.
Originally the piece was just gonna be black, white and blue-gray, but mom mentioned adding a slight pop of red in Betty's lips and on the heart in her garter. I did make the entire heart red, but I didn't like how that looked so instead there's a small, barely visible red highlight.
When I draw her again I'll probably add some more color, or use a muted red tone so it blends into the black and white scene a bit better, but until then this is what you get.
