I've returned with another chapter update and today I bring you my demon jester cat, Jingles!
Some of you may know already that this guy was inspired by a plush a friend had gifted me - a Kuromi plush more specifically! It was pretty worn down and is missing a few balls on their ears and collar, but it was their design that helped inspire my boi.
At the time I had no idea who the character was, but I knew that I wanted to create a character off of them and Jingles was born!
His design has changed over the years from circular empty eyesockets to more proper empty eyesockets, and his front paws used to be less paw like and more stubby with claws, which worked for a while, but it got annoying to draw so I went for a proper paw look.
Also fun fact: Jingles can summon light butterflies to either lure in, or comfort children. He may be a shadow demon, but these butterflies are created by manipulating shadows and light.
