Meet Moonstone, my old, revamped, Steven Universe oc! I created her back around the time the Steven Universe Movie had dropped, and back then, she had a base design, but no backstory, so when I decided to redesign her, I also decided to create a backstory for her.
Moonstone used to work under Blue Diamond - hence the blue color scheme - as a reaper, which is a group of gems tasked with tracking and hunting down rogue and dysfunctional gems. Their weapons vary depending on their preferred method of poofing, with my oc using a scythe.
Blue reassigned Moonstone to Earth in order to protect Pink from a growing threat of rogue gems, where she learned about Earth and eventually grew to love it, joining Rose's ranks.
In the events of the show, she's pretty much a glorified babysitter/bodyguard for Steven, helping to feed and protect him while Pearl taught him everything else.
Note: The blue ribbon on her left wrist is an old blindfold she had to wear around Blue Diamond so that Blue's crying ability didn't affect her.
