Before we departed, Price took a photo of Graves' lifeless body as a message to send to Shepherd through Rudolfo.
We got into the car. Despite the mission being a success, it felt as if we had still lost. Rudolfo fell silent, his eyes swollen from crying. The drive was quiet, each of us lost in our own sadness.
When we arrived back at the barn and got out of the car, Price turned to us and said, "Our food supplies are running low. We need to restock."
I volunteered along with Gaz.
Ghost turned to me and said, "Take care of yourself."
I nodded.
Gaz and I got into the car. I let Gaz drive, as I have a tendency to speed when I'm feeling sad.
I looked out the window as we arrived at a nearly broken bridge. We got out of the car to inspect it.
I said to Gaz, "Strange, the bridge was fine just a few days ago."
He nodded in agreement.
I walked to the side of the bridge, looking to see if we could pass underneath it. From a distance, I heard helicopter noises.
I shouted to Gaz, "Take cover!"
But it was too late. Apparently, a bomb had been planted on the bridge. It exploded, and the force of the blast threw me off the bridge. As I hit the ground, I screamed, "Gaz!!"
My body suffered from the impact of the bomb, and as I fell to the ground, I lost consciousness. The last thing I heard was a familiar laugh.
Then everything turned black.
