I stood up, my weapon still aimed at the enemies; those bastards were like annoying rats. The air was heavy with sand and gunpowder, making it difficult to see clearly. Keegan's voice echoed from another corner, "Price, Yn, Shepherd is trying to escape!"

I quickly emerged from my hiding spot, aiming my weapon to locate Shepherd. Sure enough, he was attempting to board a chopper. Damn it. I called out to Price, "PRICE, WE NEED TO PURSUE HIM!"

He nodded and headed towards the Black Hawks. Keegan shouted, "Don't worry, my men and I will handle these bastards here!"

I nodded in acknowledgment and ran towards Price. We sprinted as fast as we could towards the Black Hawks, the bullets whizzing dangerously close to us. I was hit in the arm, but I didn't stop. I just ran faster. Soon, we reached the helicopters and climbed aboard.

I instructed the pilot, "Follow that bastard's chopper!"

He nodded, and the Black Hawk took off. Both Price and I were bleeding from our wounds, even though we tried to wrap them with whatever we had. My old wounds were also causing me considerable pain. I noticed the stitches in my abdomen slowly coming undone; I was relying on luck to keep it together.

The pilot pursued the enemy chopper, and soon, they began firing rockets at us. The helicopter jerked violently, and we held on tight. The ropes were still hanging out for soldiers to use in case of emergency, a last resort for us to escape. The pilot fired back a rocket, managing to hit the enemy chopper.

I aimed my weapon as best as I could, but the violent movement of our helicopter made precise shooting difficult. The enemy chopper fired another missile, this time hitting our Black Hawk's wing. It spun out of control, and the pilot shouted, "Jump now!"

Price and I quickly grabbed the ropes and rappelled down. The Black Hawk crashed against a building, causing a massive explosion. We shielded ourselves against the ground, trying to minimize the impact.

The second explosion followed, and the enemy chopper came crashing down a few meters away from us. Slowly, I tried to get back on my feet, but the explosions were ringing in my head. Price struggled to stand as well.

I called out to Price, "We need to find him!"

Price, despite his injured leg, hobbled along with his weapon drawn. I stopped and said to him, "Rest up, I can handle this alone. Your leg is giving you trouble."

Price shook his head, determination in his eyes, "Do you think I'll return today without killing Shepherd with my own hands? The man who killed Ghost!"

I admired his courage and offered my help, "Alright, let's find him together."

We searched the area around the crashed chopper, unsure if Shepherd had survived the explosion. We had to be certain, and if he was alive, he needed to pay for his crimes.

As we were looking, I started to say, "It looks like that bastard didn't survi-," but before I could finish, a gunshot rang out, and Price was hit in the arm.

I quickly pulled him to safety behind cover.

Stepherd was only three meters away from us, and I urgently called out to Price, "Price!"

He was in pain, but he insisted on fighting back. I stood up and returned fire, trying to suppress Shepherd. However, he managed to evade our shots and hide.
