Anti got into the car and sighed softly, leaning back, watching his dapper fiancé get into the driver’s side.
When they arrived at the ball, Anti got out, closing the car door, before he looked at the venue.

Dark drove them to the venue, and the building looked like any other building from the outside. A banquet hall, of course. Dark offered a hand to Anti, agnd right as Anti took his hand, he pulled Anti closer, holding him by his waist as they walked to the venue. Dark had the tickets. He showed them to the guard, and they walked in. It was grand, beautiful, and decorated well enough to feel like they had actually travelled back in time. Everyone was dressed in victorian era outfits, the food, the decor, the music, the waiters, it felt oddly nostalgic, though Dark hadn't ever been to a real ball in Victorian times.

Anti chuckled softly as he was pulled close, stepping in as he held him by the arm.
“God... it’s like stepping into the past,” he whispered.

Dark shivered at it again, but then shrugged it off and smiled wide at Anti and hummed agreeingly. "It really is," he murmured. Right as he realized that Anti might've noticed him shivering at Anti saying 'God', Dark sighed. "Mm, don't apologize.".
A lady and a man greeted them, welcoming them inside. The ball was to start soon, but until then, they were all talking to each other, drinking the beverages and snacking.

Anti bit his lip softly as he watched him shiver, about to apologise... before he didn’t.
He smiled softly as he held onto his fiancé, walking to get a glass of wine.

Dark stayed close to Anti, walking in with him. He served himself with a glass of white wine, just something light for the night.
He just adored the theme, the decor. It really did feel like they had stepped into the past.
"Are you sure we didn't time-travel?" Dark murmured jokingly as he sipped his wine. It tasted perfectly aged, just enough zap and subtle flavour to it.

Anti got a glass of a deep red wine, leaning against his shoulder as he sipped it.
“Mm... we might have,” he teased, admiring the decor.

Dark chuckled lightly at Anti's reply. The host gathered everyone's attention for his announcement. He announced that the dance would be starting soon, and that everyone was requested to take their position with their partners.

Anti grinned as he set his drink down, holding onto Dark in the traditionally feminine stance, holding onto his waist and his shoulder.
“You ready, beau?”

Dark smiled, gladly taking the feminine position to himself. He placed his hand on Anti's shoulder, and one free to his side, to show as if he were holding his gown. He looked around forna second, watching everyone get in their positions and taking their places, before looking back into Anti's eyes. "Will there be partner changes during the dance?" he asked softly, raising a brow.

Anti smiled softly as he looked up at him, biting his lip.
“Mm, I don’t believe so,” he murmured, smiling up at him.
“Goodness...you’re so handsome, beau...”

Dark chuckled softly, kissing Anti's forehead as they were asked to join one of the groups. The all formed a circle, in a line, and the host raised a glass to start the ball. It felt royal, in a way. The music started, and everyone started their dance. Dark moved perfectly in sync with Anti, looking ever so lovingly into Anti's eyes.

Anti smiled wide as he held onto him, dancing slowly and gracefully. He sent thoughts to Dark, about how beautiful he was, and how much he loved him.
He leant to peck his cheek gently, purring softly, just loud enough for him to hear. His scent was rosy, and lavender-y.

Dark nuzzled into Anti's jaw as Anti leant in for the kiss. He returned a kiss to his cheek as they moved in circles while dancing. Dark couldn't help but smile and return the sweet words back to Anti telepathically. His own scent was sweeter than sugar.
They moved to a different circle, replacing the other couple who joined other cirlce, and the other circle had a couple join the circle Dark and Anti were previously in. At this point, Dark had just lost himself in Anti's eyes and aroma, letting the music and Anti guide him.
