Dark nuzzled their noses when they broke away. The warmth and the protection from the cold air felt so damn cozy, so damn relaxing. He chuckled softly as let his legs rest on either side of Anti's hips. The water, yet again, reached Anti's chin and Dark's neck. He touched their noses, grinning softly, just enjoying the sound of ocean, birds, fizzing water of the jacuzzi, and Anti's faint purring. "I love you too, beau. More than one can fathom or express..." he whispered, his arms lazily floating mid-water, around Anti's waist.

He grinned, pressing gentle kisses to his jaw as he whispered. “I have this... unreasonable urge to keep you protected. To keep you safe and in my arms. It’s a feeling I can’t shake off, especially not in this form. I want to keep you all to myself, keep you away from the world which wants to tear you down,” he whispered, nuzzling him and wrapping his wings even more snugly around his smaller frame. “You’re Mine,” he purred, kissing his cheek. “And I plan on keeping you.”
He loved this, being bigger than Dark and able to wrap his lover in himself. It was one of the best feelings he thought he’d ever had, beyond flying.

Dark closed his eyes at the kisses. He listened to Anti's whispers with all his attention, muffling any other sound around them. It was... mutual. Dark felt the same way, except he had no way of showing it, of proving it. He didn't have wings to embrace Anti. He couldn't grow bigger and protect Anti. He himself, since the time be had been open, had started to feel vulnerable. Much more emotional. He liked it, he liked being himself and letting his true self out, but at moments like proving that the protective, possessive feeling was mutual, it was no less than a hindrance. It was no doubt that Dark loved Anti, bigger and protective or smaller and foolish. He loved it. He loved being himself, being a fool in someone's arms without being judged. He smiled faintly, feeling his eyes burn from the hot, happy and loved tears dwelling in them again. "Stop it-" he whispered, "Stop making me fall in love more and more. Stop saying things I can't word out or express... God damnit- I love you, I love you so fucking much." he added, and looked down, his eyes closed as he nuzzled Anti. "You can't keep me forever, I'll stay forever!" he exclaimed, a little louder than just a whisper. "I'll annoy you till beyond time with every single bad joke I can think of." he chuckled, ignoring his quivering lips.

Anti brushed his thumbs over his cheeks, wiping away the tears with a gentle smile. He pressed a soft kiss to his lips as he cupped his cheek, sitting up and ruffling his hair. “Easy, my darling,” he whispered. “Be gentle on yourself now. There’s nothing wrong with you annoying me,” he murmured. His voice was soft, strong, protecting. Loving. He kissed away another tear, watching his eyelashes flutter. “Why are you crying, beau? I understand they’re happy tears, but... why? Why do I make you so happy?” He asked genuinely, his eyes softening as he gazed upon the man he loved in his arms.

Dark closed his eyes again at the kisses on his cheeks, at the soft voice that soothed his mind. It soothed the thoughts from the sleepless that still bugged him from the back of his mind. It soothed his heart. He opened his eyes to look at Anti, fluttering his eyes as he tried to get rid of the tears and the burning. He remained silent for a while at the question. He tried to find a reply, but he couldn't. Or, yet again, he just couldn't word his heart out, he couldn't let it out in a way Anti could understand. He took a deep breath, and shook his head lightly enough to go unnoticed. "I don't know. I honestly don't..." he whispered, "It's... everything. It's like... something in me, that only you complete. It's something from the inside... I-I don't know... I don't understand either."

Anti nodded softly, gently stroking his hips as he purred. “That’s okay,” he whispered, moving his hands down Dark’s grey thighs, feeling the soft skin. “That’s perfectly alright, my love,” he murmured again, kissing his nose. He noticed his eyes fluttering and let a soft chuckle fall from his lips, purring in his ear. “You really should sleep, my darling,” he whispered. “We’re going to need all the energy we can gather for the trip home. And then we get to chill in bed for as long as we’d like,” he smiled, kissing his temple. “We get to swim in the pool, fly around the house... although you’ll have to fight everyone else for me,” he laughed. “If I’m really as attractive as you say, then everyone will be all over me,” he joked, his eyes conveying that he’d never leave Dark, he belonged to Dark.
