Chapter 6

Valerie's POV

*three days later*

I heard a ping outside my house.

"Coming!" I hollered.

I picked up my stuff while I looked around my house for the last time. All the memories that I was going to be leaving here. I rememebered one time when I was sitting on the couch with grape juice and it was a yellow couch-not the best choice and I was only 5. I spilled the grape juice all over it and it was a mess. My mom always helped me with the struggles I had in life but now, she can't.

Mom, I hope you are listening right now. I promise to be that I will bw the child you know and will always love. I know Cam will take very good care of me and i will have tons of fun. Well, I hope you are watching down on me to guide me through rough times and help me through my struggles-like you always do. I think of you everyday, love you always!

I thought in my head, speaking to her. I hope she is looking down on me.

I heard another knock on my door.

"Sorry, I'm coming!"

I looked around the house one more time before carrying my bags with me. I opened the door while my eyes started to tear up. I can't believe I'm actually leaving.

"Hey Valerie! You ready to go?" Cam asked.

I nodded, not meeting his eyes. I let it all out.

I dropped my bags and ran into Cam's arms-bailing my eyes out.

"Its ok Valerie, shhhhhhhh, I know, your going through a lot of things right now....." Cam soothed. His arms were wrapped around me and he rubbed and patted my back.

I started to calm a little bit.

"You ready now?" Cam asked

I nodded, letting go of Cam.

"Sorry, I'm just...I don't know"

"Don't worry about it, here, let me take your bags"

Cam then lifted up my bags, without me saying a word.

I followed Cam to the car and he put my bags in the trunk of the van. He then opened the door for me and I went in. Cam then went to the driver's seat and hopped in, started the car and off we went and for me to start a new life.

Hey guys, its Jessica! I am so so sorry I haven't updated in a while! I have this big project in school and the teachers are packing a lot of homeowrk on us and I have a lot of extracurricular actitvies going on. I will try to update as often as I can, and I will give you guys a double update! Yay! Enjoy!;)
