"Kai" Soobin sniffed. "Can you come? My brother, h-he-" He cried harder.
"You alright? I'm on my way." the college student was sincerely concerned.
Once he arrived, he was shocked. First because their place was just in front of his apartment, when he knew they were going to move he thought it'll be far away.
Second because of the love of his life.
Beomgyu committed suicide.
"I called the police, they'll arrive in a minute." his crush's brother informed.
"I'm sorry for your loss but I need to go." He headed back home but couldn't handle it anymore.
So he cried, for hours. The wound was so deep that he didn't realize it was night time.
He recalled every little moment they had together and the dream. He still didn't figure out the meaning behind it.
"I'm telling you, his case isn't as simple as it seems." Yeonjun started. Kai couldn't sleep the whole night so he called his friends to stay with him.
"How are you sure?" Taehyun questioned.
"First Soobin didn't inform us, just Kai." Yeonjun said.
"Really? I thought he informed everyone, did he tell his family?" Kai was surprised that Soobin only contacted him. Were they that close?
"I'm certain he didn't." Yeonjun answered.
"Second, what would Beomgyu's motive be?"
"That's true, I can't seem to find a reason behind his death." Taehyun said.
"Third what was Soobin first reflexes after he found out?"
"He called the cops?" Kai guessed.
"No. He called you." every evidence was pointing towards the one who should be the most affected by the event, Soobin.
"Are you a cop or what?" Taehyun tried to lighten the mood.
But his boyfriend froze at his statement.
Truth is Yeonjun was an undercover for an investigation about Soobin because he might hide something deeper behind his angelic mask.
Yeonjun asked Taehyun out only for the investigation but fell in love in the process. He didn't want to be exposed so easily, after all his efforts. So he lied once again, about his true occupation.
"That's not funny Taehyunie." He glared.
"Sorry"
"Let's go back." the couple went home.
