Yeonjun was crying. Why did the love of his life suddenly left him without a word? So many questions were left unanswered.
He heard the news this morning, a young man jumped off a cliff in his car the night before.
The license plate was identified as A-D.A-21-7-21-19-20.T-B, a very odd one.
Yeonjun immediately recognized it, and consequently identified the deceased.
Why him out of all people?!
He was angry yet miserable at the same time.
"Kai say something! I'm devastated and you're just standing in front of me, silent."
"Sorry I should have stopped him." he sounded like a robot.
"Kai, let's go our own ways and not cross paths ever again" the older decided.
With eyes full of tears, he watches Kai's silhouette slowly fading away...
"I'm sorry for your loss Mr Choi. We're now sure that it was a suicide." one of the investigators stated.
"Thank you for informing me." he said, no longer shedding tears.
In reality Yeonjun already knew the story. Taehyun told him one night.
He admitted to Yeonjun that he killed his parents.
He shared his plans with Yeonjun. And the plan included his own death.
Yeonjun knew what would happen next.
But when it really happened, he couldn't help but cry because he truly treasured Taehyun.
He didn't want to lock him in prison or see him face a death sentence so he covered him up.
What kind of fool am I? The end is the same in both case, he is no longer alive.
Murderers should be put behind bars, not protected by cops...
Maybe I should resign...
