Kai was in the practice room of his university. He's been dancing for years now and was preparing for a dancing contest.
As he practiced for hours, he fell asleep in the room where he was alone.
Night came but when he woke up someone startled him.
"Oh! You're awake? Did you sleep well dear?" the unexpected man spoke.
"Hey.. What you doing here? How did you find me?" Kai wondered out loud.
"I have my ways. Now answer me." He ordered.
"Yeah I was just tired. How many hours did I sleep?" the student asked.
"13 hours." the man replied in a nonchalant manner.
"And.. You stayed with me for how long?" he was getting chills down his spine as he looked into the other's eyes.
"13 hours." Kai was terrified with his reply.
"Really? Why though.." He muttered, scared.
"This way I could protect you from insects! I saw a crockroach earlier. I just wanted to protect you Kai! Let's stay forever together, I'll be by your side 24/7, 365 days a year! No, 10 years, 100 years, 1000 years!!" the boy said scaring the shit out of the younger.
" SOOBIN!!... Sorry I need to go. " Kai said on the verge of crying, shaking in fear. What has gone wrong with the older?
Way back home, the college student was feeling unwell. Lately he always had the intuitive feeling that something went wrong but he couldn't pinpoint the issue out. And this was stressing him out.
In the following days, Kai would see Soobin everyday out of nowhere so he told Yeonjun about the incoherent coincidences.
Obviously, Yeonjun being a cop knew all too well what it was all about. However he didn't tell Kai since he was undercover.
