After a good 15 minutes of guessing he decided to give up and wanted to end the game.
However this wasn't in the older's plan, Soobin didn't expected him to give up so quickly so he assisted him.
"It is easier than you think Hyuka"
"Did you just call me Hyuka?" the younger freaked out. Only the close ones knew his nickname, how come his neighbor whom he met not long before knows it?
"Umm no, you definitely heard wrong, I didn't even know you had that nickname haha.." Soobin panicked. "Let's finish the game."
After another 20 minutes Kai finally found out and succeeded to enter the room.
Little did he know that this was the beginning of the end.
"This is the last step and you will be done." Soobin stated. He seemed excited to see Kai's reaction to the surprise.
A laptop was placed in the middle of the room. When the younger opened it a 1.5 minute timer ⏲ started. It confused him once again but this time Soobin interfered instantly.
"Huening ssi, will you be my boyfriend?"
"Excuse me?? I think I heard wrong, did you just say boyfriend instead of friend?" Kai was definitely not prepared for this.
"You heard right honey, let's date." Soobin's smile seemed so harmless yet it creeped his pretty neighbor out.
"Soobin, I love someone else..." Kai lowered his head at the thought of you know who.
"Is it Beomgyu? My deceased brother? But he's already dead!!" It immediately angered him, why, out of all people, was he in love with his brother?
"I still haven't moved on yet, it was so sudden. Aren't you affected by it? It doesn't seem like a big matter to you.. " He gathered all his courage to question him, perhaps Soobin would reveal useful information.
"Let's not change topic alright baby? Will you date me or not?" Soobin asked growing impatient.
"Sor-"
"Say yes or your mother will be dead in seconds."
"What-" Kai didn't have the time to react that his hyung threatened him.
"I placed a bomb at your mother's place and if I click on the button, she'll end up in the same world as Beomgyu." He said showing the remote control he's holding.
"Quick darling, only 15 seconds~" He pointed towards the timer.
Either way his mom will be dead if he disagree : when the time's up, the bomb will automatically explode or Soobin will make it happen faster.
Kai thought.
"ten seconds"
Something is definitely wrong with him, how did he know his mom's address? When did he placed the bomb? Is this even real or just a setting to force him to date his neighbor?
"three"
No time to think.
"two"
Fuck it.
"o-"
"YES!! LET'S DATE! NOW STOP THIS!!" Kai shouted on top of his lungs, nearly crying. The timer stops at the same moment.
"Good boy~" Soobin smirked and pinched the other's cheek.
