The next morning Saskia went to school and I really had nothing to do. I'm not much of a TV watcher but I decided to see what I could find.As soon as I sat down the doorbell rang.
Dammit. I unwantly opened the door. A guy who looked 22, around my age, was standing there. Sharp jawline. He had Caramel brown hair and blue eyes.
I looked him up and down in a judgemental way, "What?"
He cleared his throat and replied, "Alastor, right? We need your help with a job." Putting the pieces together and knowing what he meant my brain has a flashback from the dream I had.
My gut fell. Without another thought I pulled out my pocket knife, somehow managed to pull him in my house, and pinned him against the wall with the knife against his neck. (In the least sexual way, I know what you're thinking.)
"I think you know the obvious question I'm going to ask here. One, how the fuck do you know my name. Two, how the fuck do you know what I do."
He smirked but didn't answer. Pressing the blade harder against him, he just lifts his neck high but remains silent.
"Of course," I said and brought my knee up as hard as I could to his crouch. He doubled over in pain and I kicked him in the abdomen. He fell to the ground and I kept kicking him.
He started coughing out blood and got up. He wiped the blood from his mouth and looked at me. His face was blank of emotion.
"At least tell me your name, man," I tell him. "Adron," he answers. I couldn't help laughing. "Adron? How do you spell that?" He looked at me like he wanted to strangle me.
"Alastor isn't any better."
"I think it is, hun. You going to answer my question?" Adron took a second to "think" then said, "Nah." "Ok then," I replied. "You either answer it, or we play a game."
"How about neither. But I can tell you what I need," Adron responded. "Yeah, no." I took a step forward and in a karate style I hit both sides of his neck with force and he fell to the floor.
Alastors voice came in the back of my head. "Good job, buddy!"
'Don't ever call me buddy again. What do you want?' I asked in my head. "You listened to my warning!" His voice is also upbeat and in a sarcastic tone. Never made sense to me.
'No, I did that because he knows too much. I wasn't gonna take it anyway.'
"Whatever you say," he replies then just leaves.
"I don't get paid enough for this," I say, pulling Adron, reminding myself I don't get paid at all.
....................
If your name is Adron I am so sorry.
This chapter was so hard to write I had no idea what to add next.
Sorry for not updating yesterday I had no motivation.
Thanks for reading
