Hailey's POV
Apparently I had missed more than just the beginning of dinner last night. After mom went back inside the house after talking with Jess, she proceeded to get into a huge argument with Luke. Which was still lingering the following morning. As we do every morning, me, Rory, and mom went to Luke's. Only, mom would not go inside after her fight with Luke...
"You're being completely childish." Rory says to mom
"Am not." She retorts.
"Are we just never gonna go into Luke's again?" Rory ask her.
"We might as well starve" I exaggerate.
"Girls, this was a bad one. This is not Nick and Nora. This was Sid and Nancy and I'm not going in there." Mom states.
"But the coffee is in there!" Rory expresses.
"And its Danish day! Are you really gonna let a stupid fight ruin Danish Day?" I declare.
"No I'm not. So you two go in there and order 3 coffees and 3 danishes to go." She demands.
"Seriously?! He's gonna know what's going on. Luke's not that stupid." Rory expresses.
"He cannot prove that you two aren't going to share that 3rd one. Can he? No. So go!" Mom declares.

We reluctantly enter into the dinner. We go up to the counter where Luke is standing and proceed to order.
"Hey Luke" We both say.
"3 coffees and 3 cherry danishes to go please" I ask for.
"3 coffees and 3 cherry danishes, huh" He repeats back
"Oh and some napkins too" Rory chimes in
"One of these is for her, isn't it?"
"Who? Oh... No, no. They're both for us. We decided that one was not enough for us so we were gonna split that last danish and coffee." I iterate as Rory nods in agreement
"Tell you what, I'll give you one danish and one cup of coffee. You two split that, sitting at that window right over there. And then I'll give you each your own and you can be on your way." He debates.
"You really just gonna watch us enjoy a danish and coffee?" Rory asks him.
"Cable's out and I'm starved for entertainment." He says back to us
"Okay this is insane. So you guys had a fight, big deal. You know that you're gonna make up anyways..." Rory the proceeds to go on about how danish day is the perfect day for them to makeup.
As she goes on I find and empty table by the window and place my bag down on the chair next to me. As I sit down I look out the window and notice the sun perfectly hitting mom and she just looks at the town. I take this moment to pull out my canon power shoot camera from my backpack. After adjusting the lens to focus on mom and blur out the town in front of her it becomes a beautiful picture, a perfect candid shot. Just then, Rory comes over with only two coffee's and a white paper bag with only 2 danish's. As she places them down on the table she asks me..
"What are you shooting now?"
"I got a really good shot of mom watching the town." I proceed to show her the photo I took.
"Your getting better at those candid shots sister." A brief moment of silence passes between us. "Hey so I have a huge favor to ask you."
"What is it?"
"Well. I know you have to work today and I promise to get you out of there on time but Paris finally is letting get a front page article. Only thing is is that its an interview with Mr. Medina."
