Hailey's POV
It had been almost a month since the bid-a-basket marathon. Me and Aaron were on alright terms and I couldn't be happier with Jess. It was nice to see his jealous side whenever I mentioned Aaron.
2 weeks ago, Rory officially met Sherry and us girls went to dinner. It was really nice, but Sherry admitted to me she still likes me better.
Today was like any other. I went to Luke's to meet my mom and sister for breakfast. When I arrived I only saw Rory sitting at a table.
"Hey Ror, where's mom?" I asked my sister as I sat at the table with her.
"She's upstairs looking for Luke." My sister responded.
"Ah, I see Caesar is cooking. That adds up." Suddenly I see Jess come down from the apartment upstairs and make his way to our table.
"Hey, stranger." I say to him as I get up to kiss him.
"Hey Hayden, Rory." He signaled a head nod to my sister.
"Jess, how much to you like me sister?" She questioned him.
"Enough to keep her around. Why?" I roll my eyes at his comment and smirk.
"Wanna bring us coffee?"
"Yes please!" I agreed with my sister and sent a pleading look towards him.
"Fine." He kissed me one last time before walking away.
"That is probably the most attractive thing about that man.."

That same night was movie night with the Gilmore's. We were walking to get snacks when Lorelai 'decides' that she's ready for a tattoo.
Once that ridiculous discussion came to an end, when happened to be standing outside of Luke's, seeing a certain grumpy man through the window watching a very tiny television...
"What is he doing?" My sister asks my mother.
"Not sure. Will you two go get the ice cream?" Lorelai asks us.
"I think I'll go with you mom. I need some of my property back from Jess. Rory you good alone?"
"Yeah. I'll make sure they give us a ton of maraschino cherries." With that, my sister left and my mother and I were entering Luke's.
"Hey Luke. I'm going upstairs to annoy Jess."
"Have at it kid!" Luke shouts to me as I walk up the stairs to the apartment. I can already hear music blaring before I even open the door. Luckily the door was already unlocked so I didn't need to bang on it to get Jess' attention. When I entered the apartment not only was a greeted by a mess but also a sleeping Jess with a book on his chest.
"Exactly what I wanted." I creeped up to Jess sleeping peacefully, and grabbed my book off of his chest. When I scimmed through the book moments later, I realized he hadn't just written some silly comment in the margins, then whole first page was a note he left for me...

Dear Hayden,
I plan on giving you back this book later this week. I've now noticed that we've been together for 6 months, not officially the whole time, but still. 6 months. These hours I've spent with you everyday have become some of the best times of my life. You never seem to unamaze me with your beauty, your smarts, and even your talent for photography. My feelings for you seem to grow more and more with each passing moment that I see you and when I'm around you. Just know that you'll always have me here, even when no one else is, there's always someone who loves you..
