I was in the middle of making dinner as the evening approached when I heard a knock at the door. Uncertain about the visitor, I asked Haru to stay where he was just in case.

Approaching the door, I caught a faint, familiar scent – a mix of wood and spices. Despite my doubts, I decided to open the door, holding a pan behind my back in case of trouble.

When I opened the door, the person standing there was...

"Katsuki." It couldn't be him, could it?

"Izuku." His voice confirmed my disbelief.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I came to talk to Auntie to find out where you were, but..." Katsuki's words were cut off by an unexpected shout and approaching footsteps.

"Daddy!" Haru's voice came from inside the house.

I signaled for Haru to go back inside, giving him a look that said, 'We'll talk later.' He agreed and went back inside.

Katsuki's eyes narrowed in confusion as he asked, "Who was that?"

Realizing I couldn't hide the truth any longer, I nervously shifted on my feet before admitting, "This might come as a surprise, but he's my child... Haru is our child."

A puzzled expression crossed Katsuki's face. "What?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of disbelief and anger.

"Haru is our child," I repeated, trying to gauge his reaction, though uncertainty still lingered in my own voice.

"Our... child?" Katsuki questioned, clearly shocked by the revelation.

"Yes, I didn't plan to keep it a secret forever," I began to explain. "But I needed time to gather my thoughts and figure out how to handle the situation..."

Katsuki interrupted me, expressing his frustration. "So you decided to keep him hidden from me for who knows how long?"

Emotions overwhelmed me, and I started to scream as I admitted, "Don't you think I wanted to? I couldn't bring myself to tell our child that his father WAS A CHEATING BASTARD!" It was the first time I had talked openly about our past, something I had always avoided.

"Izuku... let me explain myself to you, please..." Katsuki pleaded.

Without saying a word, I stepped aside, inviting Katsuki into the house. As we both entered and sat down, I braced myself for a difficult and honest conversation about our future.
