Daily Quote: "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players." - William Shakespeare
__________________________________Izuku and Katsuki sat across from each other at the worn kitchen table, the heaviness of their shared history palpable in the air. Taking a deep breath, Izuku initiated the conversation.
"So," he began tentatively, "are you going to talk or just sit there quietly?"
Katsuki struggled to maintain composure before breaking the silence. "I'm sorry, but you kept our child a secret, and you expect me to react quickly?"
A sigh escaped Izuku, laden with a mix of sadness and frustration. "It wasn't an easy decision, Katsuki. Our relationship ended badly, and I had to think about Haru's well-being. I needed time to sort things out, not to punish you or deny your rights as a father."
Katsuki leaned back in his chair, fixating his gaze on the table. "I don't know how to make up for lost time. I didn't even know I had a child, Izuku."
Understanding the complexity of the situation, Izuku acknowledged, "I know it'll take time for both of us to adjust, but we owe it to Haru to figure things out, to be there for him as parents, not as a couple. We will never be a couple."
Katsuki's initial tension dissolved into laughter at Izuku's stumbling words. "We'll see about that, nerd."
A glimmer of hope appeared in Izuku's eyes as he smiled, relief and joy washing over him. "I'm glad you're on board, but, as I told you, we will never get back together."
Katsuki smirked "Whatever you want to believe."
Izuku raised an eyebrow, a hint of sass in his tone. "Well, Katsuki, you're the one who showed up uninvited. What did you expect, a warm welcome and a pat on the back?"
Katsuki shot back with a smirk. "I expected an explanation, not a dramatic revelation at the doorstep."
Izuku rolled his eyes. "Life is full of surprises, Katsuki. Get used to it."
Katsuki leaned forward, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "You always had a flair for drama, don't you, Deku?"
"Drama or not, you're still here," Izuku retorted, crossing his arms. "So, what's the grand plan now, Bakugo?"
Katsuki chuckled. "Grand plan? I'm just here to figure out how to co-parent with you without strangling each other."
Izuku smirked. "Strangling might be a bit extreme, but we'll see how well we can manage."
Katsuki leaned back, crossing his legs. "And about that 'never getting back together' thing—"
Izuku interrupted with an eyeroll. "Save it, Katsuki. We're not rekindling anything. We're just two adults trying not to mess up our kid."
"Fine by me, nerd," Katsuki said with a grin. "But don't act like you're not secretly enjoying this"
Izuku smirked back. "Enjoying might be a stretch. Tolerating? Definitely."

A few weeks later, things seemed to be going better for the Midoriya/Bakugo family. Katsuki and Haru had started getting along, although it wasn't easy in the beginning. They made progress. However, Izuku and Katsuki still had their disagreements. They fought about almost anything, even though they weren't married, it felt like they were.
Izuku decided it was time to do something about it. He scheduled an appointment with a family therapist, one of the best around. Although Katsuki wasn't thrilled about it, he eventually agreed to go along.
