Spidey and the Wolf

Reunion

Previously:

Finally Peter was ready to go, and he hugged the other Spider-Men goodbye, he almost felt like he was leaving his brothers, for they were all Spider-people and he already felt a close bond with them. They did too with him, they saw their younger selves in him, and hoped one day to see him again.

As Lydia, Peter, and Stiles lined up to walk into the portal, something deep in Peter's gut caused him to take hold of the other's hands and he turned back to look once more at his fellow Spider-Men and then took the first step into the portal.

Peter feels a weird tingling feeling over his skin, and a sense of dizziness. 

Then there's a whoosh of fresh air and he opens his eyes to see he's in the living room of the penthouse in Stark Tower.

And there, sitting on the couches with holographic maps and all types of weird tracking technology, is his family. 

Aunt May, Pepper, Ned, Tony, and . . . 

Mj.

He feels tears of relief and joy prick his eyes, as the tension and strength leave him and the pain and exhaustion hit him, he stumbles forward, letting go of Stiles' and Lydia's hands. 

Everyone looks up at the sound, and their eyes widen in both happiness and relief. Ned looks like he might pass out from joy, Aunt May and Pepper just look plain relieved. Tony smiles, a feeling of consolation filling his body as he sees his kid is alright. And Mj, . . . 

Her eyes meet his, and he could swear he saw tears there, and suddenly she's up and coming towards him, and 

they meet halfway and he just hugs her close. 

Buries his face in her neck, contentment filling his body, just thankful that everyone's okay. 

That she's okay. 

It's only been a couple of days since he's last seen her, but it feels like forever. 

And he knows in his heart then, that one day, he will ask her to marry him. 

Cause she's the one for him. 

He leans back a bit so he can see her face, and then he kisses her. Hard, and passionately, as if he would never see her again. Reluctantly he pulled back, gasping for breath and rested his forehead against hers. He felt a sense of peace that he had not felt for the past few days or however long it had been. His arms are around her waist, and her arms are around his neck and he never wants to move from her grasp.

He feels more arms surround him, and suddenly it's a big group hug with everyone in the room, even Stiles and a reluctant, eye-rolling, but small smile Lydia.

And even though he's burned all over and has so many wounds, he feels okay.

He knows he'll be alright. 

Because with his family surrounding him, he knows he can make it through anything. 

They all can. Together. 

And that's when his legs finally give out. 

He feels strong arms catch him and he looks up with tired eyes to see Tony smirking at him. "Need a little help, Underoos?"

Peter just laughs, and lets his family help him to the couch. 

He collapses gratefully on it, everyone sits down again, Stiles and Lydia sitting together on the opposite couch, Pepper and Aunt May across from him. Tony next to Ned who's right next to Peter and of course Mj on his other side, tightly clasping his hand in both of hers. 

The reunion time is over. 

It's time to get to business.

a/n: yes very short sorry!!! I have a lot of things going on in my life right now, and I meant for this to be longer but I'll write the rest of the chapter soon and post it!!!! Thanks for being patient with me!!!

ALSo fun fact: when I put this title on the list of title to vote on, I almost didn't add it. I added it kind of as a joke, just to see if anyone seriously thought it was good enough or smth like that, or liked it enough for it to be the title.
