Spidey and the Wolf

Previously:

 Peter just laughs, and lets his family help him to the couch.

He collapses gratefully on it, everyone sits down again, Stiles and Lydia sitting together on the opposite couch, Pepper and Aunt May across from him. Tony next to Ned who's right next to Peter and of course Mj on his other side, tightly clasping his hand in both of hers.

The reunion time is over.

It's time to get to business.

Peter leaned forward, eyeing Stiles and Lydia who both give a nod. He takes a deep breath, and gets to explaining.

He watches his family and friends' eyes go wide as he tells the story of what happened since the bomb went off in the lab, (of course cutting out the gory details), and he chuckled inside at Mj's anger and Ned's frightened look when he got to the part about Erebus.

When he got to the portalling to a different multiverse part, and their doppelgangers, Stiles excitedly explained each of their doppelgangers. 

And when it came time in the story to tell how he met the Spider-people, he held back and didn't tell them about Mj's doppelganger for some reason. It just didn't feel right. It felt weirdly personal. Especially after their conversation. 

Pepper got a kick out of Tony and her's doppelgangers outfits though, while Tony just kinda rolled his eyes and huffed. 

Ned was very interested about the Spider-mans' lair and totally nerded out for a minute while having Peter explain every detail he could think of. Tony, meanwhile, was mentally cataloguing everything in order to see if there was anything they had that he would want to use somewhere in the tower. 

Everyone's eyes went wide when Lydia explained the multiverse portalling machine the Spider-mans' had, and how many people from different universes had ended up in that one too. 

Tony especially seemed interested in the machine and his brain was working overtime to try to figure out the schematics for something like that.

"And when he explained that each person would go back to their own universe, I made sure to clasp Lydia and Stiles' hands and go through first so that they came back with me. After all, we still need to make a plan on how to save their world from Erebus. We can't just leave them to him."

Everyone nodded along, Pepper insisted though that Lydia, Stiles, and Peter go shower, visit the Medbay, and get something to eat before planning. 

Peter reluctantly agreed, he itched to work out how to defeat Erebus but he could admit to himself that he was still in a lot of pain. 

When he stood up, he fod his body could actually support his weight this time and he headed toward his room to take the hottest, longest, shower of his life. 

Even if he was eager to get to planning, he couldn't resist. 

After he had gotten out of the shower and got dressed he headed down to the Medbay.

Peter tried to ignore Bruce's winces and barely stifled gasps as he sees the extent and damage of the burns and other wounds he endured in his little adventure. 

After he's stitched him up and given him ointment to put on his burns, he sends him down to the common area to get some food. 

When he walks out of the elevator, every head in the room turns towards him, and Mj comes up to him and just as he thinks she's going to kiss him on the cheek, she ruffles his still wet hair smirks.
