Author's POV:

Daniel walked in his house hoping his parents won't be there. He was limping a little. But his mind was at worst.

He thought Mr. Morris was a good guy but looks like he had motives. His mind was crying on the thought that Vanessa had to risk her life for someone weak as him

He wished he never lied to his parents and went there, but going there for the second time then the third time today.... everything was his mistake.

He heard a grasp, he saw his mother rushing to him worried. He knew at this time his parents would be home, he never thought it through.

Silvia said touching her son's burses, his face was turning red and blue at points.

He tried to look away, when is mother asked worried, "Daniel... Baby, who did this?... god!" She was already looking in distress.

His mind reminded Mr. Morris word, 'All of this goes to someone's ears and she is dead..... and yea.. your father too, I would be glad to kill him.'

Daniel just whispered, "Mom... I am f-fine... Leave me alone."

Silvia said instantly, "No you are not..." She made him sit, and the panic in the house caused Lewis to check on his wife as he was in his study.

Lewis eyes went wide, while Daniel was hiding his face.

Silvia was already giving him first aid murmuring her concern.

She turned to Lewis saying, "We should get to doctor..." she turned back to Daniel whispering, "God! my baby.."

Lewis asked Daniel, "Who did this to you?"

Daniel stayed silent, Silvia whispered, "Baby, who did this you?... don't be scared."

Lewis lifted Daniel's face, causing him to hiss. Lewis was concerned on the punch marks. He asked again concerned, "Dan, who did this to you?... tell me son"

Daniel wanted to tell but the same threat rang in his mind, 'All of this goes to someone's ears and she is dead..... and yea.. your father too, I would be glad to kill him.'

He looked down saying, "Nothing...."

Silvia was losing it, she said, "Daniel, you can tell us...."

He still didn't spoke much. Lewis said, "I am filing a report, no one can treat my son like this."

Daniel got up saying, "No!..."

Silvia and Lewis looked at him stunned, Daniel said, "I had a fight with someone.... Don't do this, they said I am cry baby because my Dad is Commissioner... I don't need help..."

Lewis was angry on his son, but he still asked, "Who were they?"

Daniel said, "I don't know... they were just random boys..... I lost my temper....."

Lewis asked again, "But your mother said you went for movie...."

Daniel looked at his mom unsure to make up a reason. He said, "No.. I lied...."

Silvia said, "Daniel, Where you had a fight ?.... No one can treat you like this, why would you do all of this. What if something happened to you?" While Lewis was losing it.

Daniel said losing it, "Stop it!!!!....I am not a kid! I will deal with this myself!!! why you all are bugging me anyways!!!!... I had a fight not you!"

His father screamed, "Shut up!!!"

He flinched, Lewis warned, "first you lie, then fight like a goon and you are talking back with this attitude!!!... Daniel you are grounded till I see regret in you for today... go to your room!!"
