"Will we ever learn? We have been here before."
LOS ANGELES

"Boss! Boss!" Sebastine ran into the dinning room panting. Luca raised his brow at him as did his female guest.
He dropped his spoon, his eyes questioning him.
Sebastine hung his head low "Sorry boss but I have important news" he said looking over at Luca's guest.
Luca understanding what he meant stood up "Gwen I apologise for the intrusion. Maybe we will continue this some other time. I will have my driver take you back home"
Gwen gave a stiff smile as she glared at Sebastine who looked away from her. She wiped her mouth and stood up pulling her short dress down.
"It's okay Luca. I am sure next time you'll make it up to me" She slurred and winked at him shaking her butt excessively as she left.
Luca groaned not hiding his displeasure at the pleasure he just missed.
"This better be worth it. My office now" He walked towards his office Sebastine trailing behind him.
Once they got into the office, Luca sat down on his seat rolling his sleeves up as he waited patiently for Sebastine to speak up.
Sebastine cleared his throat "We have news that Deadly Scorpion is in town"
This made Luca seat up. His eyes clearly showing his interest.
"We believe he arrived yesterday and will be going to Club Annex tomorrow night" Sebastine relayed the information.
Luca scratched his chin a glint in his eyes.
"What is he doing in Los Angeles and why to such an open club..."he muttered to himself.
Even if it was a ploy or scheme this was his chance to get a look at this Deadly Scorpion and know what the fuss about him has been.
A person who kills without hiding must surely be powerful.
It's either he joins him as an ally or an enemy. Having the deadly scorpion on his side might just be what he needs to eliminate and gain full control of the underground sector.
"Sebastine what do you think about clubbing tomorrow night?" He smirked a dark look passing his eyes.
Sebastine smiled in understanding "I haven't been to one in a long while. I wouldn't mind" He chuckled.
Luca hummed "Inform Finn of the plan" He said dismissing him.
"Boss what do we do when we get there?" He asked curious.
Luca crossed his leg drumming his finger on his desk
"We talk"
"And if he doesn't want to talk?" Sebastine asked slowly.
"We make him talk" Luca grinned.

Evanora sat at her vanity table staring at her face in the mirror. It's been 24hours since she arrived at Los Angeles with Gun and it still feels surreal to her.
She never really knew when she'd come back here and now here she is in the same city as 'him'.
Fernando briefed her of the plan before she left so she knew what her mission was.
This was a game of drawing out the predator.
When she stepped into Los Angeles she made sure she stepped in as Deadly Scorpion so that the news would spread.
She was sure he must have already gotten it by now and now all she has to wait for, is the divine meeting.
The meeting that will mark the count down to his end.
Her outfit for the club tomorrow was already ready as is her dye for her hair and her contact lens.
Her mind was prepared but she wasn't so sure of her heart.
What would it feel like seeing him again after such a long time?
A knock at her door disrupted her thoughts. She stood up and opened the door.
"Gun? Any problem?" She asked staring at him.
"Can I come in?" He asked
She nodded and moved aside letting him in.
They booked seperate rooms for obvious reasons. Gun's room was two rooms away from hers.
She locked the door and stood staring at him as he sat on her bed.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"He stared at her pointedly. His tone serious.
She raised a brow at him and crossed her arms.
"What are you on about?"
He sighed "I know your history with this man. If you start this, you cannot get out of it until it's done. This is a serious job Kelly. Don't mess it up. If you're getting cold feet back out now" His voice was strong and his words firm.
He wasn't joking.
Evanora stared at him silent before a deep chuckle came out of her mouth.
Once she controlled her laughter she stared at him amused.
"How many people have I killed gun?" She asked him.
"Too many to count" He replied.
She nodded "This won't be any different" She replied seating back down at her vanity table.
Gun opened his mouth to reply when she cut him off with a raised hand.
"I understand your concerns but their is no need for concern. This isn't my first mission Gun and I have much more reasons to want him destroyed and dead than anyone. Whatever feelings I once had for him are gone. I promise this won't be any different" She assured him.
Gun was silent. His eyes only watched the woman in front of him. She was strong, brave and fearless but something deep in him a doubt he couldn't settle unnerved him.
He doesn't joke with his missions especially not this one. Everything counted on the success of this one and he will make sure it's successful no matter what.
"Promise me if ever you have a change of heart you will tell me" He said.
Evanora grinned shaking her head in disbelief.
She sighed softly and stared at him "How about this. If ever you think I have sided with him or abandoned the mission, kill me." Her eyes told how serious she was.
Gun's eyes widened. That was all the prove he needed to settle his heart. He nodded and stood up "I'll leave you now. We have a big day tomorrow" He gave her a gummy smile, his jovial nature back.
Evanora rolled her eyes and pushed him out of her room shutting the door in the process.
Once she was finally alone. Her aura dropped. She stood silently staring at the door.
"Evanora probably won't be able to get the mission done but deadly scorpion can and will" She muttered to herself and climbed her bed switching off the light.
