"So do you"

---

Parker finally spoke up, giving a small smile. "Finally he speaks. Hey Denise how long until I'm up and fighting again? Just in case." I asked curiously, my smile turning into a serious face.

"A day or two at least. The stab location really wasn't smart on their part. It was one of the only spots where you could survive it." She said making my eyebrows raise and a laugh fall from my lips. "Oh ow that still hurts."

"Damn you are tough," Dennis laughed and offered me a hand. Denise nodded at him to let him know it was okay for me to stand and walk if I could.

"Is your family safe, both of you?" I asked and they nodded, as I was about to say something else the door could be heard opening and slamming shut.

"You're okay, oh my god that's- that's great." Samson said in relief as he walked over to me about to give me a hug. "No hugging her, I'd rather not risk it." Denise said seriously.

"What the hell happened out there?" He asked and looked to the two boys. "Some son of a bitch stabbed me." I said and held Dennis' arm tight to stand up, still feeling quite dizzy.

"I was with your dad, Rick and Michonne doing the flares. But the horn noise that was here broke off half the herd. They're coming this way." He explained to all of us and I gave a small nod. "We need to be prepared." I told them, they all nodded in agreement but Denise just looked terrified.

Letting go of Dennis Parker stood up quickly and got to my side, not touching me but keeping his arms out in case I fell. "I feel and look like shit, I'm not incapable." I rolled my eyes as I slowly made my way outside. "Make sure you stay with her, don't let her go too far okay?" Denise asked and they all nodded. They just followed me around like a lost puppy as I made my way towards the people that gathered near the gate.

Rick was back, the herd was at our front steps and they weren't stopping.

I was walking around, still being followed like a puppy. I was checking around to see who was still here and how everyone was; I came to the pantry garage, Spencer was having to talk to everyone about not taking more food than necessary. He was good at it, he got them to leave and set everything back down. "Good job we needed that. You should keep an eye on the pantry. Keep Olivia safe." I smiled, by now I was able to clean most of the blood from my skin. I hadn't changed clothes yet seeing as it was apparent that walkers, at least some, would get inside.

Before he said anything I was off again. "Sam go keep an eye on the wall please. Parker you should clean up and check on Sammy and Ron. Dennis, you should really try checking on Aaron. Let him know this wasn't his fault." They all just laughed at me.

"Oh come someone please at least go keep an eye on the wall. I saw who they had there, they need someone more knowledgeable." I groaned and put a hand on my left hip, opposite of where my bandages were.

"You can hardly walk without having to grab onto one of us every minute." Dennis said, hand on his hip in a mocking manner. "I don't need all three of you right beside me, you could be used better in so many different locations." Parker scoffed and shook his head, they didn't answer and didn't leave so I just started walking again.

"Okay if they won't day it I will. You need to go sit your ass down and rest. End of discussion." Parker said sternly as they followed me, both Dennis and Sam were surprised with his tone toward me. "Just leave me be damnit." Sighing as I waved my hand as I finally started making my way back to the house. "You're distracting yourself, you don't wanna think about Glenn. You haven't even checked on your dad." Sam sighed and followed me. "He's dead, that's just how things are."
