Mitch and Tim are sitting talking when Noah comes up.
"Dudes we're on the same team again."
"Why would they break up a winning team?" Mitch asks.
"So we could build new friendships," Tim replies.
"Well, most of the team is the same. We did lose Bethany though." Noah says.
"I would trade all of you for her." Mitch groans.
"Even me?"
"Yes, even you, Noah."
"Even me?" Tim asks.
"No. I was talking first string."
"Aw. He can't be separated from you." Noah sighs.
"Whatever," Mitch says. "He's the third-best QB at camp. With everyone having to play at least 1 quarter, I want the best on my team."
"And our first string is nothing to Bethany?" Noah asks.
"Yes."
"I'll tell her. Maybe she'll move her crush from Tim to you."
"She doesn't have a crush on me."
"Then why did I hear her and her friends talking about confessing to you?" Noah inquires.

"Beth sit with us?" Mitch calls as she walks by.
"I have to sit with my new team. I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too."
"Are you going to fall for her before she and Tim get together?" Noah asks. "So awkward."
"We're just friends." Tim and Mitch answer together.
"Not you two. Someone and Bethany." Noah teases.
"Tim can have her."
"She's not property," Tim replies.
"So you're not going to make the prettiest and toughest girl at camp, yours?" Trevor asks, joining the fun.
"And she's older than us." Noah adds.
"You guys are dicks."
"Oh, grown-up words from our back up captain." Trevor grins.
"I'm the backup QB, not captain." Tim says.
"Everyone knows the QB is in charge on the field."
