Eunjin awoke at a random time at night. She picked up her phone from her other pillow. It was currently 23:00. Ricky was probably asleep already. She got out of bed, walking downstairs. She realized that she had slept through dinner and hunger made her enter the kitchen to find something to eat. When she left her room she hadn't noticed the boxes that Ricky had left on her bedroom nightstand for her.

Eunjin made sure to be quiet going down the staircase since Ricky's room was next to the stairs. She turned on one of the dimmer lights in the kitchen. She made her way over to their instant noodles cabinet, searching for what she was in the mood for. She settled on making Buldak Carbonara ramyeon.

She served herself a portion of the noodles, eating them with her chopsticks in the dim light. She was still surprised that she had slept that long. She wondered if Ricky managed to successfully get the pregnancy tests. And where he put them if he did.

Eunjin finished her noodles in peace, gulping down a glass of water afterwards. She tiptoed  silently back to her room. As she was getting back into bad she noticed the small boxes on her nightstand table.

The sticky note attached to one caught her eye. She snatched the box with the note, ripping it off.

"'Thank me later'" she read aloud to herself. She took the medicine as the instructions on the box said, hoping it would help her feel better.

Eunjin didn't really feel like taking the pregnancy tests that night so she returned to bed, deciding to do it in the morning. Before she fell asleep she checked her phone to respond to messages that she missed. She checked her conversation with Ricky to see if he had said anything while on his errand. She saw no new messages but still wanted to text him.

Eunjin had sat on her bed, pondering for a moment whether she wanted to include a heart or not. She finally convinced herself to just add one. It would show that she actually was thankful that he got the stuff for her and grabbed medicine that she hadn't requested for. Just to play it safe she decided to send a white heart rather than a red or pink one.

Eunjin decided to just take the pregnancy tests and get everything over with. She couldn't sleep anyways.

Eunjin stood in her bedroom bathroom, unpacking the four pregnancy tests from their small boxes. She carefully read the instructions on the box and followed them.

Eunjin lost track of the time waiting and ended up finishing the second half of her kdrama episode in bed. She walked back into her bathroom after her episode ended to check.

She rubbed her eyes, tired. Watching kdramas normally made her exhausted from just sitting in the same place while watching a single episode that was an hour long.

Eunjin picked up one of the tests to check the results. She wasn't really expecting much and just took the test to tell herself everything was fine.

She awkwardly stared at the two lines, blinking her eyes. She picked up the other few to confirm her results but they all showed the same two lines.

"Oh, shit" she cursed, sighing.

Eunjin returned to her bed, sitting there on her phone. She decided to text her brother. Ricky had told her to text him if her results were positive but she decided to do that later.
