Eunjin sat on with her laptop, sending out the last few guest invites. Ricky just sat on the other side of the couch, doing something for a class.

"Aren't our companies going to merge when we get married? All I know is that's when my mom is handing it over to me" Ricky asked Eunjin if she knew.

"Something like that" Eunjin didn't understand why they needed to get married for their companies to merge. She thought that their parents just used that as an excuse to set up their kids.

Eunjin looked down at her phone to check the time. She was supposed to be meeting Nari at a cafè in fifteen minutes. She quickly grabbed her notebook, pencil case, and laptop, stuffing them back into her tote bag. She stood up from the couch, throwing the tote bag into her shoulder.

"Leaving already?" Ricky noticed her packing up.

"Why so disappointed?" she teased him. "And I'm meeting my friend at a cafè," she told him.

"I'm coming with you" he told her, putting away his laptop.

"No, you're not," Eunjin wondered why he wanted to come with her so badly. Did he just like cafès?

"Do you really think your friends are going to believe that we're together if they're never going to see us in public together??"

Eunjin realized that Ricky had a fair point. But maybe he just wanted to get a beverage or a snack.

"Ugh fine, you can come" Eunjin walked towards the exit.

"I was going to come either way," he told her. "I don't see why I need to get your approval."

"Do you do this with everyone? Just join their plans?"

"No, of course not, that's rude" he said. "I'm only doing this cause it's you. And I want a latte."

"Don't be like this when Nari's there, she'll see right through you" Eunjin reminded her future spouse.

"I'm a good actor" he assured her.

Since Eunjin had walked across campus to Ricky's dorm she drove with Ricky to the cafè where she planned on meeting Nari. They sat silently in his car, still parked in the same spot. Eunjin wondered why they hadn't moved a single inch. It then hit her that she hadn't given Ricky the name or address of the place. She quickly scurried to pull out her phone and set the directions for the route to the cafè.

"Took you long enough," Ricky grumbled, turning his steering wheel.

Eunjin closely observed Ricky's hands move the car's steering wheel. She couldn't fight the fact that Ricky was attractive no matter what he was doing. The part that was holding her back though was the part that reminded her that this was her rival. Her enemy.

Luckily the cafè wasn't too far from the university's campus grounds. It was a popular location for students from Ricky and Eunjin's university to go and study for upcoming exams. The soon-to-be couple entered through the front door together, Eunjin immediately spotting Nari who sat at a table. There was only one other empty seat at the small round table, a seat that Nari had been saving for Eunjin.

"Hi Eunjin-ah!" Nari warmly smiled at her roommate who she had seen just a few hours before. "Oh, you brought Ricky-"

Ricky put on a fake smile but Nari on the other hand, didn't see the need to. She didn't exactly glare at him but her expression showed that she wasn't too please to see him.

{ my flowerrr }

i don't trust him tbh
his aura feels weird

what 💀

y'all were literally enemies when did all of this happen

like a year ago

oml you've been hiding this from me for a year?

Nari quickly put her phone back on the table, face down before Ricky could ask what they were texting about. Ricky had honestly never seen this girl in his entire life. But he still politely greeted her and put up an act.

"I didn't know that you were coming so there's only one chair," Nari apologized even though she was glad she only saved one other chair.

"It's fine, I was planning on sitting over there anyway to get some work done" Ricky told her. "I don't wanna interrupt you two. By the way, Eunjin-ah, I'm going to go order for us. What do you want?"

"Oh, just get me what I always get" she said, even though she had never been to any sort of cafè or beverage stand with Ricky.

"Okay, I'll order it real quick then leave you two alone" Ricky had absolutely no clue what Eunjin liked so just ordered something random. He just ordered a simple plain frappuccino and a latte for himself. Everyone liked frappuccinos, right?

Their order came out at a rapid speed. Ricky wasn't even waiting for five minutes before they called the name that he had placed his order with. Since the cafè had their customers order through a kiosk machine he took this opportunity to put some random name.

"Order for Chrizzma Boss!" an employee announced, placing the two drinks onto the order pick up tray.

Ricky approached the pick up zone, quickly grabbed the two drinks and leaving the one for Eunjin in front of her.

Ricky could tell that Eunjin's friend, Nari, was obviously not exactly buying his amazing act. So he told himself that he would have to step up his act a little. He tucked some of Eunjin's hair behind her ear, something he actually liked to do. He bent down to leave a small kiss on the cheek skin that he had just revealed by parting away her hair.

"Just tell me when you're done," he said. "I'll be right over there."

As soon as Ricky went over to another table Nari gave Eunjin this look. A look that she gave when judging someone.

"Did you actually fall for a flirt? Again?"

"I like flirty people" Eunjin wasn't lying about that. Her only crush had been a big flirt, similar h to Ricky. But she quickly stopped liking him once she found out about his rotten personality.

Eunjin took a sip of the drink that Ricky had ordered her. She made the mistake of drinking it without reading the label that told what the drink was. She quickly realized that the drink was a frappuccino. She absolutely hated frappuccino drinks. She didn't say anything though, knowing Nari would know that everything was staged if he had bought her a drink that she hated. Eunjin sneakily shifted her grip on the cup so that it covered the drink's label, going unnoticed.

"Okay, so, let's talk about your upcoming wedding."
