Fall 13: Matured Maple Trees

We are inside of the airplane waiting for our arrival in Japan. It's been 2 days have past since the day we left America. I was just sitting beside Mikuo... I feel so nervous around him... even thought....

"Lenka, are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

"Y-yeah!"

Even thought I'm so scared at heights!

I feel so scared and at the same time nervous!

"I suddenly remembered when we were still in collage..."

"Huh?" I looked at him and he started to laugh.

"Do you still remembered when we were cutting classes with Rinto and went to the roof taft? You were clinging so hard to me because you were so scared at heights... pfft.. hahaha!"

"How dare you!" I pouted and crossed my arms.

"Don't you worry... I'm here for you..." He mumbled.

I looked at him with my surprised expression... did he just said that....? my heart started to beat fast and I can feel my cheeks got warmer and hot... I feel so embarrassed... but happy....

"But I won't carry you if you passed out." He said coldly

"Wha-?!" Ugh! he is really annoying!

"Hahaha you're so cute!" He smirked

I can't believed it! why did I even fell in love with this stupid guy?!

"I'm sleepy!" Mikuo stretched his arms and yawned.

"Don't act like a kid..."

"Meh... I'll just sleep..." Then he leaned his head to my shoulder.

"M-Mikuo?!" I tried to remove his head but he keeps on leaning.

"Let me sleep...." Then he closed his eyes....

Is he already asleep?.... I nervously peeked at him and for just a second my heart started to beat so fast.... it's so warm... being just beside him... he really didn't change even one little bit... his sleeping face sure looks so cute... I thought that he is really mean and stern when we first met... but...

"I love... you... Mikuo..." I mumbled

My face is so hot when I said that! Oh on I feel so embarrassed and shy! but then.... I suddenly felt hurt and somehow complicated.... I brushed my fingers in his hair and felt tears starts to drip in my eyes.... why? why do I still feel like this? even though he is already beside me.... what do I even want now? I... I love you.... Mikuo... just accept my feelings....

Luka Megurine's Point Of View

Lately Miku doesn't talk to me that much since the day Luki gave me the book that Miku borrowed in the library.... I wonder what happened to her? When I try to go to her classroom during dismissal time and during lunch she is not there.... but she used to wait for me....

When I was just walking by the school grounds I happened to pass by the library's window, where the maple tree stands... I don't know why but I just looked inside the window...

I was shock from what I just saw.... my eyes got wider and my jaw almost dropped from disbelief.... Miku is with.... a guy?! My eyes might be joking with me! but I just can't believe it! Oh my I have to tell it to Kaito that my best friend is talking to a boy.... for the first time!

I ran and ran until I reached the gym where Kaito usually hangs out a lot. When I entered inside I saw Kaito all alone dribbling the basketball....

"Kaito, I have good news for my friend!" I waved my hand running towards to him

"Luka... pant...pant..." He wiped his sweat with his towel and looked at me.

"My friend, Miku!"

"What's with your friend?" He asked in a sweet tone.

"She is talking to a boy! I can't actually believe it that she will grow up so soon..."

"Well it's because my girlfriend is the one who take care of Hatsune-san." He smiled.

"!!!" For a minute I felt my cheeks went warm and my heart started to beat fast as how condensation process in a mach speed of 20....

"You're blushing...." Kaito said happily.

"Sh-shut up!" I covered my face with my pink hair and turned around.

He is too bold....

"Okay, I won't tease you but be sure next time to be ready..." He held me tight at the back.

"You are really an idiot, Kaito...."

"Aw~ I love you so much, Luka." He kissed me on my cheek and grinned.

This guy is really mindless... sigh... how did I even fell in love with him? I just grinned and pushed him gently.

"Let's go home!" I took his hand and pulled him.

"Yeah..." He held my hand tighter....

But... he is really mature....

Maple Colors

In the side of the library there was this mysterious maple tree that has a colorful sunset. When in the middle of the fall the maple trees starts to be more mature and sturdy. Everything takes time to have a steady relationship... it just takes time to be mature in love.
