Chapter 6

Sonic's P.O.V

Both Shadow and I sat on this bench for what felt likes hours. The best hours of my life. I had my head resting on Shadow's shoulder as he had his head on top of mine. It was silent and amazing to be with my lover here. Soon the silence was broke by Shadow's phone that was ringing.

Shadow looked at his phone "I got to take this" Shadow replied as he stood up and left.

I watched Shadow answer the call as he walked further down a path that was near the bench. Until he was no where to be seen.

I sat on the bench feeling left alone again by myself. Once again I was soon interrupted from my thoughts by a voice.

"Hey, Sonic!" Jet greeted as he walked up to me

"Oh hey Jet!" I greeted back

"What you doing here all alone?" Jet asked me

"I'm not Shadow is here" I replied

"Where is he then?" Jet asked again as he sat down next to me

"He went to take a phone call." I replied

"So he left you?" Jet asked

"No, he just went to take a phone call!" I snapped

"Calm down, I didn't mean to upset you, Do you know what the call is about?" Jet apologized but asked another question at the end

"No" I replied

"Do you think it is about another lover?" Jet asked

"No, it is probably about his work" I replied

But I started to think maybe it is someone else. I didn't see what the contact number was. Maybe he is hiding it from me?

"What ever terrible problem you have I am always here for you." Jet said as he hugged me. I gladly hugged him back.

Shadow's P.O.V

I soon got of the call I got about the concert they wanted me to sing early then planed which I was ok with because I have a song on my mind to sing and I am sure Sonic would love it!

I walked backmto my mate. "Sorry, Sonic. But we got to......" I was cut from my words to see Sonic hugging Jet.

Since when did Sonic and Jet became friends? I watched them for a little bit. Until they pulled away from each other when Sonic noticed me.

"Oh hey, Shadz!" Sonic greeted me

"Umm... we have to go now they want me there now." I replied

"Oh ok!" Sonic replied as he walked to me when I walked off.

"Later Jet!" Sonic replied as he walked off after me

At the concert

It was 10 minutes until I had to go on. I was nervous I know I had done this many times but I just hope Sonic will like the song.

"Your on, Shadow" the announcer said

I walked on stage and started to sing

There's no way to say this song's about someone else

Sonic's  P.O.V

I was shocked by the song knowing that Shadow only sees me as his one true love. Jet was wrong and that made me happy as I see my mate sing on how much he cares for me. This made me really happy. Shadow must have noticed it because he sang louder he looked happy as well.

When Shadow finished his song he jumped off the stage pushed through the crowd that was gathering around him to get to me. When Shadow reached he didn't think or look twice but instead he leand in and kissed me. I happily kissed him back.
