Chapter 10

Shadow's P.O.V

Years later

It had been many years later I kept singing as for it was my job. As for cheater and his new funcking lover never was seen again. I had spent much of my time reading at the park bench I had made that fucking promise. Once it was dark I would pack and get ready to sing every night. My eye had also healed over the time.

I decided to stay inside for it was raining outside. I was sitting on my couch reading a nice horror book when I got a call. I answered it.

"Hello?" I asked through the phone

"Shadow! Can you sing tonight?" The boss asked

"I sing every night, rain won't stop me!" I told him

"Great see you in a few" The boss replied

"See you then.." I replied as I hung up the phone

I put my book down and went to get ready. I got my equipment and put it in my black bag. I also put on a black hoodie once I was ready I left my house.

I stood on the porch as I locked my house. I put the hoodie over my quills, ears, and head and walked to the concert.

As I walked to the concert I heard something...

"Help!"

"Hmm? Hello?" I asked the sound was quite but hear able

I listened for a minutes but there was nothing. Maybe it was in my head...

Soon I arrived at the concert. I unpacked my things and got them set up. Once I was ready I told the boss who announced my appearance.

I walked on the stage and begin singing!

Once the song ended I panted as I was out of breath. I watched as the crowd cheered with joy.

"I will be doing autographs! So stop by to say hi!" I told the crowd as they all cheered harder.

I put the mic down and left the stage.

Later

Soon it was time to sign autographs. I sat down in a chair with a desk in front of me. Many mobians lined up and I got to work.

As I was on the last autograph I heard my name being called. I looked up and saw Sonic and Jet.

I pinned my ears back at the sight of them.... but something was off.

Jet smelled like alcohol and Sonic looked terrified? Was I seeing this right?

"Go on!" Jet said as he pushed Sonic closer to the desk.

"I want to give you this..." Sonic replied skiddish as he handed me a folded pice of paper.

"Umm.... thanks" I replied as I took it.

With that Sonic and Jet left. I opened the paper and read it.....
