Chapter 8

Sonic's P.O.V

I woke up cuddled into Shadow. I purred softly as I rested my head on his chest. I listened to his soft breathing that soon turned into purring. I was about to doze back off that is until my phone went off.

"Hmm? Who is texting me at this time?" I asked myself as I loosened Shadow's grip to get my phone. As soon as I got it I read the message, it was from Jet.

I called Jet since I was to lazy to text him.

"Hey, Jet. What you want?" I asked him over the phone

"Hey, can you meet me at the park today?" Jet asked me

"Umm...... Sure" I replied

"Great, meet you there" Jet replied

I looked over at Shadow who was still asleep. I got up to get ready, once I was ready I left to meet up with Jet.

Shadow's P.O.V

I soon woke up but something was missing. I looked over and saw no blue hedgehog.

I didn't think much of it well that is until my phone went off with a text message. I turned on my phone and read the text. It was from Sonic.

"Hey, I am going to be home really late uhh Tails needed my help." Sonic texted

Tails? I thought he was in New York?

"OK, see you tonight." I texted back.

With that I started my day.

Night

I looked at the clock that hung on the wall it read 7:00pm

"Time dose go by fast I guess." I said

With that I waited for my love to come home..... But he never did.

Days later

It had been days Sonic never came back. He had texted me many times that he will but it never happened.

Dose he still love me? Did I make him upset?

As thoughts ran through my head I stated to question them and myself. I was pulled out of my thoughts when my boss called. I answered it.

"Shadow, are you up for a concert today?" He asked

"Yeah" I replied

"Great see you then" The boss said before he hung up.

Great. I need to clear my head. I decided to take a walk outside it usually helps. That is what I did.

I had walked to the park, it begin to rain.

"Something I need." I said as I sat in the rain not caring

I was enjoying the peace until I heard a familiar voice, Sonic?

I looked around to wher I was until I saw him. Which I did but he wasn't alone.

Jet? Was with him.

I watched Sonic and Jet a little before I walked over. I regretted on coming here.

I pinned my ears back as I saw Sonic get closer to Jet before kissing HIM?!

"So, baby want to go back to your place before hitting the concert?~" Sonic asked Jet

"I can't see the problem with that~" Jet replied as he kissed Sonic before they both walked off out of my sight.

He cheated on me? But why?

I had tears in my eyes as I watched what had happen. My heart was broken. I ran off not even looking back.

Night

It was soon night. I was already at the concert. I waited until it was time for me to sing.

When it was time I walked on to the stage and stared to sing.

When I finished singing I left the stage not wanting to look at Sonic. I went to the backstage room that is mine and started to pack up my things before Sonic came.

As I was almost done the door opened to reveal the last mobian I wanted to see.
