"I need to..." Anna said as she stood up and she went to go upstairs. She went to leave the servants hall and she stopped in the doorway.
"Anna?"
"Are you alright Mrs Baits?" Thomas asked, who had stopped beside her. Ashamed and with no sense of a plan on how correct the horror that had happened to her: Anna let herself fall to the ground.
"Anna!"
"Mrs Baits," Thomas and Mr Baits called as Thomas knelt beside her.
"What happened?"
"She was just standing there, then she fell."
"Anna?" Mr Baits asked as Thomas rolled her onto her back.
"Anna, are you alright?"
"Can you hear us my darling?"
"Anna?"
"Take her upstairs. I will fetch water and the doctor," Mrs Hughes said and Thomas lifted Anna into his arms. Hating being this vulnerable, but without another opinion, Anna remained limp in Thomas's arms."Mr Baits, Thomas, Oh. Is that Anna?" Cora asked as she came across them in the hallway.
"It is my Lady."
"She collapsed downstairs and we are taking her up to her room."
"Is she alright? Have you asked the doctor to come?"
"Mrs Hughes is seeing to that. And I don't believe that she is alright."
"Right. I will send Doctor Clarkson up when he arrives. Take care of her."
"We will my Lady," Mr Baits and they continued to take Anna upstairs.
