"William," Mrs Patmore said as she addressed the staff of Downton. "William's gone," She said, and she started to cry. Everyone was silent, and tears came to their eyes.

"I'm sorry my Lord, but I must tell you," Mrs Hughes said and they turned to her.
"Very well. What is it?"
"William has passed away."
"Oh."
"William," Edith said before she covered her mouth and everyone started to cry.
"Poor William."
"Have you told the staff downstairs?"
"Mrs Patmore told us a few moments ago."
"Alright, I will call the coroners office. Is his father with him?"
"Yes, Mr Mason is still upstairs."
"Send a maid to be with him."
