Raihan had been worried about Alejandro for days. He hadn't heard from him, and when he tried calling him, he didn't answer. Raihan decided to check on him and went to Alejandro's house. When he arrived, he found the door unlocked, and the house was dark and quiet.
He searched the house and finally found Alejandro in his bedroom. Raihan couldn't believe what he saw. Alejandro was only wearing a pair of boxers, and he was frantically self-harming. He had a knife in his hand and was cutting deep and bloody gashes into his wrist and thigh.
Raihan rushed over to him and tried to take the knife away, but Alejandro resisted, fighting him off weakly. Finally, Raihan managed to disarm him and gently pulled him into his arms, holding him close.
"Shh, it's okay. I'm here. I've got you," Raihan whispered softly as he rocked Alejandro back and forth.
He looked down at Alejandro's wounds and saw that they were deep and bloody. Raihan knew he had to act quickly to stop the bleeding. He grabbed a towel and started cleaning the wounds, trying to be as gentle as possible.
Once the wounds were cleaned, Raihan dressed them with some bandages he found in the bathroom. Then, he helped Alejandro into bed, covering him with blankets.
Alejandro lay there, his breathing shallow, as Raihan sat next to him, holding his hand. He didn't know what to say. He had never seen Alejandro so vulnerable before.
Finally, Alejandro spoke in a hoarse whisper. "Why did you stop me?"
"Because I care about you," Raihan said softly. "I don't want to lose you."
Alejandro turned his head to look at Raihan, his eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry," he said. "I didn't know what else to do."
Raihan leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips. "It's okay. You don't have to go through this alone. I'm here for you."
They lay there, holding each other, as the night turned into day. Raihan knew that they had a long road ahead of them, but he was willing to do whatever it took to help Alejandro heal.
