The sun peeked over the skyline, casting its golden rays on the tranquil lake, as Vera and Jace prepared for a special day with their beloved childhood friends. Excitement filled the air as they gathered their camping gear, picnic baskets, and a whole lot of laughter.

As Sadie, Raiden, Adiel, Faustin, and Zeki arrived one by one, hugs and greetings were exchanged, accompanied by playful bickering and teasing. It was a reunion filled with nostalgic warmth, as they reminisced about their shared adventures from years gone by.

Vera and Jace exchanged knowing glances, their hearts brimming with joy and anticipation. Today, they would reveal their relationship to their dear friends, but not without a playful twist.

Jace: Well, Sadie, you know me. I like to keep things under wraps. But who knows? Maybe someone has finally captured my heart.

Raiden, the joker, chimed in with a mischievous grin.

Raiden: Wait, wait, wait! Could it be that you and Vera are secretly an item? You two have been spending an awful lot of time together lately.

Vera's cheeks flushed, and she exchanged a quick glance with Jace, their secret now hanging in the air for their friends to ponder.

Adiel: Oh, come on, Raiden! Let's not jump to conclusions. "Friends" nga daw sila diba (grin).

Faustin, who couldn't resist adding his own playful comment.

Faustin: Nak ng tokwa! Dalawang dekada na tayo sa mundo, until now "Friends" parin status nyo?

Sadie: Oo nga!...Jace ano na? galaw-galaw!

Zeki, the calm and observant one, smiled knowingly.

Zeki: Whether they're officially together or not, one thing is for sure: Vera and Jace have an undeniable connection. It's written all over their smiles and the way they look at each other.

Vera and Jace exchanged amused glances, delighted by their friends' speculation. It was time to end the suspense.

Vera: Okay, okay, let's put you all out of your misery. Kawawa naman kayo ih, mga chismis deprived (chuckle) Jace and I are officially a couple!

Jace: (smiling) Yup, after ng dalawang dekada, finally di na kami "Friends" lang!

Cheers erupted, followed by congratulations and teasing remarks. Laughter filled the air, as their friends playfully nudged Vera and Jace, happy to witness their love story unfold.

Raiden, with a mischievous grin, jumped to his feet.

Raiden: Well, now that we've cleared that up, I think it's time for some friendly competition! Who's up for a swimming race? The loser has to do a silly dance around the campfire tonight!

Adiel, always up for a challenge, jumped in eagerly.

Adiel: Count me in! But Raiden, you better start practicing your dance moves because you're going down!
