chapter 13

You were being half dragged since your leg gave up the minute it was cut with the hoe. Your limp arm was bleeding at the wrist from the handcuff. "Come on stop stalling" hisses Ashton as he shoves you threw the hole in the wall. "Here" Ashton speaks into a walkie-talkie. A few seconds later a helicopter came out of the sky and was slowly coming down. You tried getting your hand free from the cuff but nothing. It probably made it worst for your wrist. You where for the first time kinda really scared..You saw Eto sitting in the rubble watching not doing anything to help....You kept kicking..... "Ayato please hurry up."

Ayato POV

I hobbled down the broken hall way blood dripping off my clothes. Cloriko was able to cut my arm. I held the bloody body part in a piece of clothe. I hurried/hobbled faster down I had to get to (Y/N) who knows what that psycho will do to her. "Hang on (Y/N)".

Your pov

You kept trying to get away kicking biting hoping some ghoul would come help. But you didn't think there was a living soul here. So many bodies everywhere it was raining soot which looked like snow. The ground was covered in it. "Stop squirming!" snaps Ashton as he slams his fist into your face. you cough as throbbing pain shoot through your face. The helicopter was almost there. He picks you up well somewhat drags you mostly as he dragged you behind him towards the chopper. "Wait no!" you hear your mother scream. You look to the side seeing her run towards you. "Please Ashton leave her! take me instead!" she pleads as she grabs his arm. You see Ashton's eye flash with hate when she touches him. "Run mom!" you scream. "Please Ashton..." she gasps. An evil smirk appears on Ashton's face. You stare at horror as the hoe comes down through your mom throat. Everything went quiet as you watched your mother fall to the ground. Tears tried forcing their way down your face. "No! MOM!" you scream as you try to get to her. Tears streamed down your face. "Mom!" you cry out as Ashton carries you towards the helicopter.

Ashton puts you up in the helicopter. You kick his face when he gets up over the railing. "Ow son of a B++++" Ashton rubs his nose with his free hand. "(Y/N!)" "Ayato!!!" you scream you hobble to stand with your limp leg/arm. You see Ayato who was beginning to run towards the chopper. Ashton takes off the handcuffs that where attached to you and the containers. "Give her back you Ba+++++!" Ayato shouts as he pulls back and throws something into the chopper. Ashton went over to it and while he did Ayato leaped up onto the chopper. You hear Ashton scream with fury. as he unwraps to reveal Clorkio's head. Ashton pulled of his Hoes out. Ayato wasted no time and came to you. "Ayato!" you gasp. "Its okay" Ayato says as he helps you towards the open door. You could see Ashton walking up to you guys. You knew what you had to do then. You look at Ayato in the eyes and smile. Then you take a container and shove it into his arms the push him out of the chopper. "No (Y/N)!" he shouts at you. Ashton grabs your arm and throws you back into the chopper wall. The helicopter pulled up fast and left. leaving Ayato and everyone behind.

Ayato pov

I shouted (Y/N) over and over again as they took her in the helicopter. she was gone. I slowly look down at the container that she shoved me with. I open it to find the cure inside.

All the survivors where meeting up in the sewers. I found Minx and Blanca by some piping. "Is (Y/n) okay?!" asks Blanca I shake my head. I failed in protecting her I failed her...I sat alone with the stupid container. Her mother was dead. (Y/N) only had me and I couldn't save her. I could see Eto and Tatara walking through the crowd of ghouls with out a scratch on them. I never saw them out there. I felt rage raise inside me as as carry the container and walked to them. "Where the Hell were you!" I shout and punching Tatara just like (Y/N) did. You glared at Eto she was there and did nothing to help. "And you! just watched!" I was so ready to punch this mummy. "If I did I would of died..thats a casualty I would avoid." She says with a smile. "You just...left her" I was so ticked nothing mattered at that point.

I sat back alone I ended up giving the container to Eto. I didn't trust her but still. I could feel my eyes sting I wiped them with my hand. I put my mask over my face so no one could see and let the tears fall. I know its not me but...I tuck my face into my knees.

Flash backs

"That's not funny (Y/n!)" 16 yr old me shouts at (Y/N) as she had just pranked me which ended up having me soaked by a balloon. "It is funny!" she laughs her face going red from laughter.

"Tree's! are tree's! and cows! are cow! and that's all!" (Y/N) says dramatically.

"I miss my parents Ayato" whimpers (Y/N) as she hold on to the 15 yr old me. "I know how it is..its okay I'm..here" I said reassuring her.

"I'll always protect you from anyone or anything" young me says to young (Y/N) "you promise?" "I promise."

Flash over

I could feel this weird feeling in my heart the kind of feeling that I feel towards my sister...I shake my head. "F me" I mutter. I can't be with her...could I? I growl at my stupidity. I lean my head back on the piped wall. I sigh...(Y/N).

I wish I didn't have to find out about my feelings this way. I look up at the spider webs and dust. on the ceilings. I watch ghouls running around for help, No one was going to go get (Y/N). That left Blanca, Minx and me.

What did she want to tell me? was she going to confess as well? or was she going to tell me something else..did she feel this way about me as well? I sigh what does it matter either way doesn't matter. I'd make her feel the same for me. I could feel my arm coming back to me finally. I stand up slowly. And clench my fist. "Don't worry (Y/N) I'm coming" I promise.

Sorry that this Chapter is short...but hey I figured how to have music! I'm so proud haha....:D I don't know when the next update will be since I'm slowly figuring whats happening after this chapter?? I know I did bad with the emotions for Ayato...but its hard including if you never done an Xreader before?! I hope it wasn't that bad....but oh well...
