Ayato X Reader Tokyo Ghoul

Chapter 9

You and Blanca stood outside the infirmary as you watch the doctors tending to multiple ghouls including Minx. "What the Frack happened!?" you growl "Minx and these ghouls were sent on a mission to go get info from team 12 in sector 3 but there was a surprise attack from CCG." Blanca explains. You saw some of the ghouls screaming and their kakugan's shooting out of their bodies. "Gosh" you realize that you've seen this before. "Blanca stay with Minx" you say as you run to Lab 1.

You see Dr. Otieku holding a vial with purple substances in it. "We need a cure right now." you demand. "We heard we are working as hard as we can." Dr. Otieku says as she puts the vial beside other vials. "We think this will be able to slow down the process" Dr. Otieku says handing you a bag of vials with green contents in it. "It isn't a cure! they all will die! if you don't hurry up!" you demand anger rising slowly but surely. 'We can't do anything at the moment. Please take these vials and inject the serious patients first." you look at the vials and sigh then quickly run off back to the infirmary.

"What is that stuff?" asks Blanca as you hand her a few vials. "Okay we need to give these to the seriously infected ghouls" you say to all the nurses in the room. Everyone quickly grabs vials and start injecting them into the patients. You stick the needle into Minx neck. You didn't know where to stick it but you thought the neck is a better place to give it. Minx's skin was freezing, and she was shaking crazily. After all the vials where administered to everyone. The patients bodies started to stop shaking. But their bodies where still icicles.

"Hey?" you see Ayato walk into the room. "Hey" you reply as you keep holding Minx's hand. "How is she?" he asks as he stands beside you "not good" you whisper. "The nurses are bringing in some heaters and blankets but..." you stop speaking and just look at Minx. You could see the puncture wound on her forearm you guessed that's where the virus broke into her blood stream. "Don't worry she's not easy to just roll over and die" Blanca mumbles. "We should go and let the nurses handle this" Ayato whispers wrapping his arm around your shoulders leading you out of the infirmary. Once you two where away from the other ghouls you sighed. "This is the virus Ayato!" you gasp "Their all going to die." you mumble. Ayato holds you closer "They wont die" he says with a little sympathy in his voice. "I sure hope we create a cure fast enough to save them" you whisper as you lean your head on Ayato. "I know..." Ayato and you walk down a hall way all of Aogiri was in a frenzy. "We should of told the ghouls about the virus then maybe we could of prevented this" you clench your fist. You see Tatara and Eto walking towards you..you speed walked towards them and before you knew it your fist met with Tatara's face. "(Y/N)!" you here Ayato shout. "I hate you Tatara" you growl..a few seconds later you just realize what you did "Oh my....I'm so sorry! I I...I'm dead" you gasp with shock Tatara glares at you. "I'm Sorry Tatara" Ayato says pulling you back by the shoulders as he stepped in front of you as a shield. "I'm sure you can understand that she isn't in the right mind at the moment." Ayato says you glare at his back. Ayato I'll hit you too. You want to hit Tatara you blame him for Minx and the others if he would of told everyone then they could of been more careful and on the look out. You didn't mean to hit him....okay you meant to hit him but you didn't want Ayato to watch you hit him. Ayato takes your hand, you and him walk around Tatara and Eto down the hall you and Tatara glare at each other.

Ayato Pov

I couldn't believe what I just saw..(Y/N) just hit Tatara I've never seen her strike at someone not even if she hated them. I noticed her hands where clenched tightly turning white. I sigh and slowly grab her fist and unclenched her gentle fingers. She stared up at me her bright (E/C) eyes stared up at me with shock. I kept walking holding her hand. I took her to her room and made some coffee for her. She just sat on her bed looking down at the ground. I hand her a cup of coffee. "Thank you" she whispers as she stares down at the cup. "I'm sorry I hit Tatara" she whispers "your apologizing to me? man you really aren't in the right mind at all" I sit in the chair across from her. "I'm saying sorry to some one like him. I'm saying sorry to you cause you had to see me hit him" she whispers as she looked at her coffee not bothering to drink it.

I sigh and drink down my coffee. I had an idea to stop her making that depressed face but I think if I did it she would hit him. I set down the cup and take hers and set it down as well. I pick her up by the shoulders "What are you-?" I silence her with a kiss on the lips. I really didn't know her lips were that soft. I break the kiss and step back looking at her shocked expression. "Ay..Ayato" she gasped then her face gets all embarrassed then she hits me in the gut. "What the holy goats are you doing!" she snaps her face red. "I'm glad your back to your normal face" I mumble as I stand up straight. "That isn't funny at all!" she growls I rather her be angry at me then depressed. But wow her lips where sweet tasting...or I think that's the right word for it.

Your pov

You glared up at Ayato what in names was he doing?! kissing you. You've never felt so embarrassed in your entire life. you've never gotten kissed on..on the lips before and plus by the guy that your in love with. You knew he was doing to make you stop being sad but...he kissed you?! "Get out!" you snap you shove him towards the door "NOW!" you scream. "Yeah yeah" Ayato walks out without another word. You shut the door and slowly touch your lips you could feel his lips still. "Dang you Ayato" you mumble as you drink the coffee made you "and dang your good coffee" you mutter as silent tears come down as you sip your coffee.

The next day you were laying your bed wanting to go out knowing you would see missing ghoul's. You hear a light knock on the door Minx?! you quickly stood up It was all a dream of course! You run to the door and open it but instead of the red head it was replaced by Eto. "What do you want?." you mumble in disappointment. It wasn't a dream...it was reality...Minx and everyone where still dying..."Oh you know I'm just seeing what your doing" she squeals. "Nothing goodbye" you as you begin to shut the door but her foot stopped it. "Now now its rude to get rid of a guest..my friend" Eto says smiling "well your not a guest and your not a friend." you try shutting the door again. "Goodness you and Ayato must think the same thing because that's what he said!" "What do you want Eto?" you open the door giving up on trying to shut the door on her. You start thinking on a new way to get her away. "Any who I was just in the area seeing what everyone was up to since the mission was a failure" she says with a bigger smile, you clench your fist wanting to pound her in the face. "Oh and Tatara wants to send everyone on missions again! we will be trying that failed mission again and I was just going to tell you that your on it!" she laughs then twirls away.

I'm sorry that this is like two weeks late. I try to get out a chapter like every week or try to that is...And also sorry that this chapter is kinda *boring* I'll try to make the next one better! so again sorry for being late and also for it being boring!
