Chapter 14

3 weeks after Aogiri has been attacked.

Y/N POV

You drifted in your sleep as you heard the sound of birds chirping and ghouls outside the hallways shouting or getting ready for missions. You felt a sharp pain in your arm and chest. You open your eyes and whip up from bed. You desperately looked at your chest and arm but nothing was there. Right..its all over now...Ayato had come and saved you from CCG and now you where in the recovery room. You heard a slight knock on the door. "Come in?" you mutter as your mother comes in. Bandages around her neck from the hoe Ashton dug into her. She smiled at you as she brought in a mug of coffee. "Thank you." you smile as you take it and slowly drink it. "Well I need to get going Porpora wants me to help him." mother laughs as she kisses your forehead. "Haha of course. Take care!" you smile as you take another sip.

About a few minutes later Ayato came in. His face serious as always and his hands in his stupid pockets. "Hey" you smile as you set down your mug. You notice he was caring some meat and a knife on a plate. "I thought you may be hungry." He says as he sets them next to your mug. "Thanks." you whisper as you slowly drop your legs over the Bed. "No stay in bed" he demands as he puts his hands on your shoulders. "I'm fine." you say as you slowly stand up. "(Y/N)...before CCG attacked..you where going to tell me something.." Ayato mutters. "But before that...The cure...who were the doctors names again? Dr. Oteshi? no wait Dr. Orlando?" he mutters. "Oh well you should know that." you mutter as you hit the side of his head. His eye coloring was off. it was light blue instead of dark blueish indigo. "Okay tell me if you like this?" Ayato says fast "Wha?" your cut off when he pulls you towards him and his lips meet yours. His soft lips made you melt. You wanted to kiss him back but you didn't instead you slowly reached for the knife as you broke the kiss. "If only this was real." and right then you plunged the knife into his chest.

You woke up to reality screaming in pain as you broke through the mind barrier. Pain surged through your head and well your entire body. As CCG doctors came around yanking the monitors and tubes out of your system. "Dang (L/N) if you would just tell us where the cure would be you wouldn't have to go through such cruel pain." Said Ashton his voice with filled with fake concern. "GO frack your self" you snarl as you grit your teeth trying to hold back a scream. SMACK Ashton punched you in the gut. "I love watching ghouls suffer but you know I love it when they cry out for their loved ones to help them." he hisses in your ear as he stabs your hand with a knife. You hold back the cry of pain and glare at him. "Prepare the next trial." Ashton says leaving as more doctors came in.

Ayato pov

I have been attacking every CCG ghoul lock down areas and still no (Y/N). I knew she was alive somewhere I just knew. Minx and Blanca have been helping me as well. It turns out not only was (Y/N) taken but Porpora was as well. Come on (Y/N) give me a sign of where you are.

Your pov

You where now strapped in a chair your hands stuck on the table bolted by metal down. You slowly moved them but couldn't without pulling skin. Ashton came walking in with a brown leather suitcase. He sets it on a roll-table which was beside you and he slowly pulls out thin needles. "You can block the brain Monitors but can you withstand this?" Ashton says as he slowly sits in front of you and grabbing your hand. "You see some ghouls are mentally strong enough to ignore pain..so I did it differently this time. When Paralytic combined with an Anesthetic. You can't fight what's happening Nor can you feel any of the pain...yet..." he slowly pushes the needle under your fingernail..."Crazy huh!" he smiles as he pushes it all the way. You could feel but not feel the pain. "Now in a little while the drug will turn off. Everything your not feeling, will..mmm..will flood in all at once." You glare at him wanting to rip his bloody neck apart. "Now, we can avoid all of that pain, If you cooperate." He smiles as he finished putting needles in every finger of your hands. "Where is the cure?" he asks for the hundredth time. "I don't know." you reply blankly. "Liar!" he shouts throwing the leather case across the room. "You know where it is!!!...Does he have it?!" he throws a picture of Tatara "or does she!!!" he throws a Eto picture. "These are the heads of Aogiri and they couldn't be killed!" he shouts stabbing Eto in the heart with a knife. "Or does this son of a B****** have it!" he throws a picture of Ayato. Your eyes flickered wide for a second. "So it is him then." Ashton smirks. "Don't you fracking touch him!" you snarl as you try yanking your hands free. "He killed my sister..I'll have a jolly time killing him front of you." he storms off without another word and leaves.

You quickly try loosening the metal. You kicked the bottom of the table with your knees...I'm going to escape...and protect Ayato...even if it kills me.

About 5 hours passed since you've been stuck in the chair and all of a sudden your fingers went bright red and unbar-able pain shoots in making you want to scream. But you had nothing left in your voice. You gasped as you tried holding back gasps of pain. You heard the door open as Ashton came walking in. "Well well..having fun?" he asks as he rips out the needles one by one. You bit your lip. "Now now wouldn't you want this to all come to an end my dear?" he smirks as he leans in until you could feel his breath. You were starved you saw his veins in his neck. You mumble very quietly. "Huh? are you speaking!?" he leans in even further.

You smirk as you grab his face and slam it into the table. You unloosened the screws on the metal. You quickly leap over him and make a run for it. You had no idea how to escape but you had to try something. A CCG officer comes running at you. You had no strength to summon your kakugans so you had to block his rifle. You threw him into the wall and then quickly ran off. You opened a door and ran in until you realized it was a dead end. You whip around but Ashton blocked your way. "Your going to wish you didn't do that" he snarls as he attacks you. You block his punch and knee him in the stomach and throw him into the pipes behind you. He was so fast you didn't notice him when he grabbed your (H/L) (H/C) and threw you through the window that led back into the hall way head first. You hit the ground hard you saw the rifle from the officer you knocked out you crawled over to it. "Haha" Ashton comes walking out laughing as he snaps your knee out of place. You gasp and grasp your leg. "To bad" he grabs you by the hair and drags you back.

Ayato POV

"Ayato!" I hear Minx shout I turn around seeing the red head running towards me. She was fully recovered. "We just got a lead to where (Y/N) could be!" she says. "How?! where is she!!" I demand "A lady named Neem gave us the info..." Minx says as she leads the way to were Neem was. We entered a small secure room where Blanca and a green haired girl were standing. "Hi I'm Neem!" Neem introduces her self. "You have a lead on (Y/N)!" I almost shout. "Ya but its going to cost you if you want to know.." Neem smiles. This lady is who saved (Y/n)? "How should we know the info if legit?" Blanca questions. "Oh it is I have my resources.." Neem says as she crosses her legs. "What do you want?" I growl I was getting angry and was about to kick this know-it-all. "I want a sample of the cure...and the ingredients that made it. I want the formula. That's what I want." she says calmly. "No way." Blanca says with anger. "Then trade. no formula no info..goodbye (Y/n) its shame she was a nice ghoul." Neem says sadly and stands up. "Tsk.." I clench my fists...I know (Y/N) wouldn't want us to let another ghoul have it who knows what she would use it for...but I can't just abandon (Y/N). "Fine..deal..." I mutter "What!? no!" Blanca gasps. "Look I can't just abandon her. Not again.." I abandoned her I should of used my wings to fly up and get her but I didn't.....And now she is suffering because I didn't save her.

Ten minutes later.

I slowly hand her the vial of cure and the formula to Neem. "Why thank you..I hope you can save your friend." She smirks. "But keep this." Neem gives back the formula. "You guys need it more then me." Neem smiles as she slowly walks off. After Neem was out of sight I turned towards Blanca and Minx.."Okay lets go get (Y/N) back. "We don't even know if this is legit.." mumbles Blanca. "Tsk I'll get the map and set the GPS up." Blanca huffs as she walks back into the hide out of Aogiri. I didn't care where the info came from as long as it was legit I could have my (Y/N) back safe and sound.

This chapter was a little weird I thought...Oh well...:D
