the trip has ended, and they need to check out of the villa before 12pm. naeun wanted to keep playing at the beach but their time were extremely limited that day. well, renjun did let her go to the beach around 8am but suddenly it rained. that was beyond renjun's problems, however he will get her some candies after this. never tell seulbyul about it.

during their ride home, it was quiet. seulbyul and naeun took a nap on their respective seats, as if they just came back from a war. sleeping in a villa was great, but nothing beats sleeping in your own car/house. putting on some songs, he hummed to himself.

it was a great trip, if they put doksoon and yesterday's situation aside. he hoped that she'll tell him if she was going through something like this again. not that he'd immediately barge into the cafe and beat the hell out of that person, it's that he was her husband. she shouldn't feel like a burden when she talked about whatever was making her uncomfortable. especially talking to him. he wanted to be someone whom seulbyul can talk to, about anything.

taking a small look at seulbyul, he smiled. this exact position a few years ago, he first fell in love when this happened. her in his passenger seat.

"you're staring..."

renjun's smile died when he heard her voice echoing the car. and his heart skipped another beat when she opened one of her eye slightly, staring at him back.

damn.

"uh, im not staring. you... your seatbelt is loose"

seulbyul looked at her seatbelt, and then chuckled. the sight that could melt renjun anytime right now.

"you got me..." she tighten her seatbelt and then made herself comfortable as she looked at the outside view. renjun's lips formed another smile, his left arm handling the steering while he leaned his right elbow against the window and placed his right palm on his forehead.

"well.." he said, and she looked back at him.

"hm?" she replied

"maybe i was staring.." he murmured, and of course it was loud enough for seulbyul to hear. seulbyul moved her eyes back to the view outside, didn't give him any replies.

but when he took another glance at her,

she was smiling. how beautiful.
