Soap and Price took 10 minutes to pull them apart and I just cried.

I couldn't do anything but cry.

"We'll take Kiara for tonight. You guys... apologize and make up." Price ordered as we sat on our bed.

"Take your time. These things take a while." Soap said and they left.

"I'm sleeping in the other room." Ghost stood up and headed to the door.

"I understand if you still want the divorce..."

"Go to sleep."

I didn't sleep that night.

I just cried.

I cried loudly.

I didn't have the energy to stay silent.

I let it all out.

He's definitely going to divorce me.

I messed it all up!

Three months later

I knocked on the door of Ghost's room.

"What?" He called from behind the door.

"I was just going to ask if you wanted to come to the ultrasound with me."

The door opened and Ghost was already dressed.

"Let's go."

We got in the car and drove in silence.

I fiddled with my shirt and glanced at Ghost.

He kept his eyes on the road.

"Do you need something?"

I looked away.

"No, sorry."

"It's fine."

I gulped.

"Where do you want to eat after?"

"Wherever you want." I shrugged.

"You tell me."

I thought for a second.

"I'm craving a brisket sandwich...."

"Okay."

"Do you remember tomorrow?"

"The therapy appointment? Yeah. I remember."

"I'm really sorry Ghost."

"It's fine."

"Twins!"

Ghost and I glanced at each other.

"What?"

"You're having twins. Congratulations!"

"Oh... yay?" I looked up at Ghost who was holding my hand.

This is the most physical contact we've had in three months.

He looked down at our hands and seemed a bit surprised.

"I know it can be a bit of a shock. It may take time to get used to. Take your time."

We left the office and got food

We ate in silence back at home.

"Wanna try to sleep in the same bed tonight?" Ghost asked out of the blue.

"Okay."

I finished my lunch and then threw it up in the toilet.

I cried to myself softly until I felt a hand rub my back.

"It's okay, YN. Just let it all out."

"Do you mean the throw up or my feelings?"

"Both." Ghost encouraged.

"Sorry to bother you. I'll try to be quieter."

"Don't apologize. It sounds painful."

I would have answered if it wasn't for the wave of nausea that took over and I threw up again.

After I was sure I was done, I brushed my teeth and took a shower. I was a bit surprised to see Simon maskless on the bed.

He looked away from his book and up at me.

His eyes trailed down to my swollen belly.

"Sorry, I know I'm starting to show. I'll get dressed so you don't have to see it."

"Come lay down."

I was a bit confused but laid down next to him, naked.

I sobbed as he ran his finger tips across the small bump.

"Twins, huh?"

"How do you feel about that?"

"Nervous. But I'm ready."

I nodded and watched him caress my stomach.
