"Come on, not now." Charlie complains as her car doesn't start. "You were just fixed, why are you doing this?" she says before getting out of the car. She had gone out to the drug store to get some more bandages for her arm, simple; but her car was making it all the more difficult.
"Need some help there?" Someone asks as she pops open her hood.
Looking in the direction of the voice she sees Chris Argent. She wants to say no, knowing he is one of the hunters in town, but she really has no clue what is wrong with her car. "I can use all the help I can get." she tells him with a sigh as she stares at her engine lost.
"Lucky for you, I know a few things about cars." Chris says, bending down and begins to look around. He glances over at her, and notices the cuts on her arm. "Nasty wound you got there." he comments, "You should really wrap that to prevent infection."
"Yeah, thats why I came here. Ran out of bandages, but one problem leads me to another." She explains with a sigh.
"Well, let me help you with the bandage first before I start working on the car." he offers her.
She looks a bit confused, "No, it's alright. I can do it myself when I get home." she tries to brush it off.
"Nonsense. I scratch that bad needs a tight bandage, hard to do by yourself." he tells her with a smile. Reluctantly she nods and goes to grab her purchase from inside the car. Chris was fairly gentle with wrapping her wound, "This looks intense, what scratched you?" he asks.
Charlie looks at the wounds, "It was dark, I didn't get a good look at it. Came out of nowhere though." She half lies.
"Seems like a nasty predator, pretty big by my guess. You sure you don't know what it was? Might help with any possible side effects. You know different animals carry different things." he questions again.
"If I did, then I would have told my dad about it." she says earning a look of confusion from the man, "He's the sheriff." She tells him, almost like a warning.
Chris nods in recognition, "Oh, you're Stilinski's kid. Charlotte right? I'm Chris."
"People call me Charlie, but yeah, that's me." she clarifies as he finishes up with her bandage.
"Well that should do it for your arm then Charlie. Let me get to your car and hopefully you should be on your way." he tells her looking back over to the engine.
"Yeah, hopefully." she agrees softly, looking around seeing the sun on the horizon. "If you can't figure it out, I could call triple A or something. Get it towed so you get home before the sunsets." she suggests.
"Well, I don't wanna leave you stranded." he tells her, not looking up, reaching for something. "Here, try and start it now." he says, moving back.
Charlie listens, going to the driver seat and starting the car, which actually comes to life much to her surprise. "Holy shit, she lives." she jokes getting back out as the Argent closes her hood.
"Yeah, a couple wires were loose. You should replace those soon so that doesn't happen again. But otherwise, it looks all fine." he tells her.
"I appreciate the help Chris." she tells him honestly, hunter aside he was nice and helpful to her.
"Anytime. Let me give you my card in case you need help with another animal issue." he says, pulling out a business card from his wallet. It simply just had his name and number on it, no actual business description on it.
Charlie gives him a small smile in return, "Thanks again. Get home safe." she tells him before getting into her car. She waits till he walks away, before she drives away.
